As the rumors of the possible comeback for Bloodbowl continue to grow, just recently went onto the GW specialist games website and found that the box set for the game is now listed as being able to be sold. Which hadn't been there for quite some time. Did I miss that coming onto the page or is this a good indication of it coming back?

Eh? As far as I am aware, the Blood Bowl boxed set has always been available to order from GW web site. It hasn't been carried in store for some time, but you have always been able to mail order it. I bought a copy a couple of years ago via the web site.

Ref the re-release rumours, apparently the chief rumour-meister at Warseer (the one who broke the rumours of a boxed set release this year) has scotched suggestions that it will be Blood Bowl.

Blood bowl isn't making a comeback, because it never left. Sure it isn't available on store shelves anymore, but the boxed set, and minis have been readily available constantly from GW. There have been some figure changes in the line, but the line has never been out of production or unavailable. Nowadays the rules are completely free for download and updated periodically to the latest version.

I'm quite content playing a game with free rule updates.

Either way Blood bowl is an awesome game and great fun to play, though I do have one friend who always plays halflings with a couple big guys and then complains the whole game that his guys can't hurt anything...

You can get some awesome flaming skull dice that certainly aren't derivative of anything GW has produced for blood bowl, no-siree.
