Well, this has been done before, no doubt, but I would love to hear the fluff of your armies. Not of the stuff GW gives you or of the already Famous units in your army, but of your army...one you named and gave a story to, weather it be a IG Army like myself, a Tyranid Hive Fleet, Eldar, or all the other races. I'd love to see just how creative our Dakka members can be.

Sadly, I haven't finished writing mine just yet, although I will likely tonight or tomorrow. Got a lovely five hour Power Hour of Cleaning at my Command! HURRAH!

Fluff? What is this fluff you speak of? It sounds soft and weak.
My Army has canon.

Well, better worded--sure, you're are is Canon, but so is my 352nd Armored Division "Emperor's Hammer" because they are IG units with said stats. I'm talking as if you customized your units, went all out, gave them a history, etc, etc. So, my Lord Commissar is just that on the game board, but to me, he's got a name and a history. Sure, it's not that important, nor something that truely (unless allowed) different. That give you a better idea of what I mean?

My Behemoth Nids are actually remnants. They slowly chewed their way through the planet they were stranded on, grew a hive ship, and took to the stars again.

Now they attack planets with lesser defensive forces, growing, seeking out life, similarly stranded Tyranids or anything else, to grow their gene pool.

I actually want to play a campaign with them, starting with only gaunts, gants, gargoyles, Zoanthropes, warriors, carnifexes and hive tyrants. Basically a lot of the 'original' Tyranid forms from 2nd edition, and only be allowed to use new units as I capture them as objectives in the campaign.

Well, I have two armies, but nearest and dearest to my heart is my Armored Regiment:

The 1st Concordian Armored. Raised from the planet Concordia in 865.M41, the 1st Concordian Armored Regiment was designed from the outset as an assault regiment, designed to punch through the enemy lines.

However, in its third engagement in 905.M41, the First Company of the Concordian Armored was smashed asunder by the serried ranks of the Chaos hordes. All that survived was the Company Commander, Podpolkovnik Krasnov, in his Vanquisher Malleus Machinarum and a single Leman Russ battletank from Second Squadron.

It was after this that the Concordian Armored found its home. Reformed as a tank-hunter regiment, the Concordian Armored is now known for a high proportion of Vanquishers in the first company. The kill tally has since grown impressive, including a pair of heretic Titans, over thirty Land Raiders of various makes and models, and more than a hundred main battle units of enemy armor.

Recently, the regiment was reassigned to the planet of Central Pennsylvania, and continues to fight to this day against the Xeno and the Heretic.

The regimental commander (Marshal Malinenko) has a Regimental Command vehicle in a Shadowsword named Wrath of the Brazen God, first company commanded by Krasnov in the Vanquisher Malleus Machinarum, second company is commanded by Podpolkovnik Suarov in the Leman Russ Iron Harbinger and the third (Superheavy) company is lead by Kovnik Zukhov in the Shadowsword Incomparable and includes the Baneblade Frater Ferris and Stormblade Hasta stellarum.

The complete TO&E includes not only twenty seven Leman Russes (including the understrength 4th company) but also four superheavy tanks, two Techpriests and many attendant servitors, a pair of Atlas recovery tanks, two Hellhounds, a battery of Hydra flak vehicles, and currently a pair of platoons of Trynzendian heavy infantry (from my buddy's army, we fought together in Texas).

My Space Marine chapter is comically named the Dust Collectors. The Reserves of the Reserves, they are only called in when gak goes really, really bad, and because of their lack of action they are given whatever is left over. Including bikes, a Librarian, a Land Raider, Scouts, Terminators, and a whole host of things. They are the elite...Or so they think.

My DE is more serious. The Kabal of the Severed Sky favors a literal 'lightning attack', their vehicles moving at such speed that it appears to the untrained eye that they appear to be bolts of lightning striking the ground. They favor all manners of warfare once they arrive, maintaining a contingent of Kaballites and having good connections with several major Wych Cults which gladly follow their banner in exchange for the guaranteed violence.

My CSM is a collective of the Obliterator Host, a group of warriors that have all been affected by the Obliterator virus. They are in effect Plague Marines, with the elite of them arising to the rank of Daemon Prince, with the exception that the Obliterators they possess are like brothers to them. They fight in tandem with eachother, an unstoppable wave combined with an immovable wall.

Kabal of the Void Dominator - now with more purple!

"And the moral of the story is: Appreciate what you've got, because basically, I'm fantastic."

I actually had a post for my BA chapter before purple helped me out a lot on it. This was the basic results.

Chapter Name: Sanguine Watchers

Symbol: a pair of eyes backed by the aquila

War cry: call-"Salvation comes on wings of fire" response-"And So Shall We"

Bio: The Chapter is a BA successor chapter that after years of service became disgusted with the Imperium. Their chapter master has begun slowly turning the chapter into a part of the Illuminati Cult. This is a closely guarded secret even within the chapter, only it's first company and leaders have any knowledge of what has to be done to join first company. To all others the first company is just the best of the best. They still are part of the Imperium, but have a secret agenda similar to the Illuminati which includes gaurding the sensai and the revival of the Emperor.

Homeworld: Janus Primaris is a desert death world whose high level of oxygen causes the desert bugs to grow enormous size. This combined with the explosive geysers covering the planet caused the chapter to build it's base underground while choosing it's initiates from the nomadic tribes of the wasteland above.

Chapter Master: Praetorian Vex was a unanimous choice to become the first Chapter master of the Watchers. After years of service he began to see faults in the Imperium he worked for. Realizing how far they had strayed he began to assimilate his chapter into an Illuminati Cult. He gathered all of the heads of the chapter and convinced them in his plan. After being illuminated Vex's geneseed woke up he grew wings and developed the foresight that Sanguinus once had. Of course because of this he does not appear in public acting only as a guide. It was also found that illumination had cured the red thirst in him and all the illuminated.

High Chaplain: Aer Caliga Is charged with not only dealing with the chapters defects, but secretly those who fail the illumination process. He almost failed his illumination however being the last one to rise from his stasis. He managed to expel the demon however before Vex executed him as a result to the strain his skin turned black as coal. He believed that his trouble in the ceremony was due to his straying from the designated path of the emperor and became more diligent in his teaching.

1st Company Captain: Toryn Angelus's first mission in first company was unfortunate. The cult they were attempting to start was betrayed by some of it's leaders leading to a raid from the Inquisition. After they realized they wouldn't be able to make an extraction Toryn and his two brothers stripped their armor of color and hereldry and burned their death masked to their face. Having no way of identifying their chapter they made a last stand, ending in the death of his brothers and Toryn being captured. Luck was on his side however. Two of the Inquisiters henchman attempted to assassinate the Inquisitor using a summoned demon. Toryn couldn't bring himself to leave while the demon was still manifested. Instead of leaving Toryn fought with the inquisitor and beat the demon. Then was forced to duel the Inquisitor knowing that he wouldn't be able to just let Toryn leave. It was a close call, but Toryn was able to disarm the Inquisitor and decided only to knock him out, before escaping in a shuttle

These are what I have so far It's still a work in progress

So far this is some neat stuff. I am enjoying what I have seen so far. The Dust Collectors gave me a good laugh. The Sanguine Watchers are also cool. Hell, all of them are cool in thir own way, weather it be funny or serious (minus the Orks--they're a odd blend of both....)

Keep them coming!

Dark Angels Successor Chapter: Ranger Lords (formerly Black Angels, known by most worlds as The Ranger Corps)

The chapter was founded in M36.288. The founding was sponsored by a high lord of Terra who refused to reveal his identity. The Ranger Lords reside in the Equitol Lex sector in the southern part of Segmentum Tempestus. They own two fortress monasteries in the sector, but are a fleet based chapter due to missions that take them all over the Imperium. They recruit from any world where they find promising young men. Currently, the entire chapter fleet is enroute to sub-sector Gralphi to retake the planets there, which includes at least three forgeworlds lost in M34.314. They are accompanied by elements from the Ultramarines 5th company and elements from the Skyclaws, lead by their Sergeant Svengal Gorillafist, who is doing all in his power to keep his younger brothers alive long enough to be promoted to other companies. They also have the Imperial Guard 1456th Regiment in tow with them.

Like all Dark Angel Successors, the high ranking Marines know about their Fallen Brethren and occasionally capture one to be brought back to The Rock. The Ranger lords are sent on all kinds of varieties of missions. Some to capture relics and artifacts, some to retake planets, some to gather intelligence, and some to bolster defenses of worlds under attack. It is unknown who their benefactor/s are, but the stranger/strangers are paying enormous amounts to keep them well equipped and operating at full strength. The Ranger lords strength number over 1500, maintaining 15 full companies with a mass reserve of vehicles, weapons, supplies, and equipment at their disposal should they need it. They are very secretive, and the only people who are privey to information about their rank structure, bases, and equipment are their long time friends, sponsors, and staff. The Ranger Lords earned their nickname from many years of battles fighting alongside the Imperial Guard, their style of fighting, tactics, and strategies rely on combinations of stealth, ambushes, shock and surprise as well as fury, fear, and unrelenting brutality. They are as passionate about protecting Imperial citizens as the Salamanders and as ferocious a fighter as the Space Wolves. Doom to all enemies of man and savior to the people they protect, it is because of these traits that earned them their nickname The Ranger Corps. It was from this nickname that they derived their current name Ranger Lords.

The Marines in this chapter follow some of the rules in the Codex Astartes and not others, believing some of the rules to be too limiting when it comes to tactics, strategy, and equipment, which is where most of their advantages lie when it comes to war. In their spare time, and in times of inactivity, some Marines do art, or write books. Some go on quests of knowledge, whether it be in their fortress archives or out amongst the stars is optional. Some who were born in the Equitol Lex sector will even go visit their families whom they have not seem for a generation or two. Some are even lucky enough to see their wife or their own descendants. Their Chapter Master hold the title of Abbot instead of grand master or chapter master.

I will forever remain humble because I know I could have less.
I will always be grateful because I remember I've had less.

hmmm
The Wanderers

Chapter Master: Altoris

Homeworld: Neckia (Destoryed) Occupies a fortress monastery for the moment has a single ship and two strike craft.

Geneseed: Speculated to descend from a Lost Legion’s Genestock. But many believe the chapter to be descended from the 21st Cursed Founding as they were highly unlucky during the Assault on their homeworld.

Chapter No.: 737

Symbol: Darkened Angel

Man-Power: 429 (slowly regenerating)

Chapter Tactics: Hit And Run, Well known for their Tactical Squads being able to infiltrate entire bases without being noticed, Desert fighting experts and Ice World Experts.

Brotherhoods: Sword Templars (Life debt, as the Sword Templars provided The Wanderers a Single Ship, and saved them from the Necrons.) Dusk Guard (War against the Wild Cats, received a Homeworld in aiding in the assault.) Storm Crusaders (aided the 29th company during a Campaign against a Necron Fleet), Ice Angels, Emperor’s Shields (Aided in a small battle against a Wild Cat Company that had survived)

History:

The Wanderers Chapter have been under Strength for at least 150 years. As their planet was destroyed in a war against the Necrons awoke underneath its surface. The Wanderers sent 720 Battle Brothers to fight the Necrons driving them into the very planet itself, activating a Warp drive, using their Entire Fleet as basically giant ticking time bombs as their weaponry had no affect on the Necrons tomb world sent their entire fleet through the planet, taking the planet, Necrons and the remaining The Wanderers with it into the warp.

The Chapter Master Altoris was not present during this time, as he was overseeing a campaign, having significant loses came across a single ship that possessed the entire storage of their geneseed and the last battle barge of their once great fleet was shattered but still had its priceless cargo. Altoris took it upon himself and the rest of The Wanderers Chapter to rebuild it, and one day ensure the chapter would one day regain its forces.

The Chapter had been highly active in its Wandering. Its Original Name has been lost in records but it has taken a new name The Wanderers. But it is clear they are devoted to the Imperium and they have a deep seated hatred of the Necrons. The Chapter also hunted down artifacts. Though the exact reason why is unknown. But what is known is that they use the artifacts which are Dark Age Technology for the Imperium and turn it over to the Ordos or the Mechanicum.

The Chapter’s most famous artifact raid was against the Eldar of Ulthwe in the Ghoul Stars. The Wanderers were traveling in a system when they came across a Adeptus Astrates Signal, too weak to be a recent attack. But it was several thousands of years old. The Wanderers came across a Desert Planet and detected a large superstructure on the planet below. Wanting not to have an problems arise if it was a trap. The Wanderers sent down their forward Stern Guard and their tactical squads to capture the Superstructure.

When they arrived on the planet below they found a doorway to a massive armory, which contained relics such as Terminator Armor, Relic Blades, Conversion beams, and land raiders, and 500 suits of Power Armor. This founding made The Wanderers praise the Emperor as their luck had finally turned to good. Not only did they find this but as they searched deeper they found technological wonders. And Eldar Relics, the Librarian accompanying The Wanderers forces accidently activated a Eldar Distress beacon. Not knowing what he had done he remained ignorant until it was too late.

The Eldar of Ulthwe arrived in large numbers of Storm Guardians lead by a single Farseer called Ja’loti the so called keeper of relics. Immediately on arrival the Eldar Ground forces attacked The Wanderers Guarding the Superstructure. While the Eldar Ships engaged The Wanderers Fleet above.
Surrounded and almost completely outnumbered Altoris scattered the fleet making it harder for the Eldar to target them. He then sent down his newly Equipped Terminator Squads to the ground below to provide aid to the besieged units below. Also simultaneously sending out Cobra Fighters, to engage the Eldar Fighters.
The Librarian who was at the command of the Ground forces of The Wanderers immediately on sensing a Eldar Pysker nearby bolstered the defenses of the Superstructure by collapsing tunnels and by using the ancient Land Raiders to aid them in their battle against the Eldar who had believed to find only infantry. When the ancient Machines roared to life thanks to their Techmarine Plato they immediately took the battle to the Eldar by driving them back from the caves.

When the Terminators Arrived to provide aid they found The Wanderers pushing the Eldar but still not gaining as much ground as they would like.
With a Final Push the Librarian immediately Engaged the Ja’loti in combat, slicing through the Seer Council with relative ease with his assault Squad. The two Pyskers battled each other with their minds and finally the Librarian disemboweled the head of the Ja’loti. Taking the force weapon away from the Farseer’s corpse; as a prize. They secured the last of the cargo and prepared for transit. But before they could leave the Eldar attacked yet again. Seeing no other way to aid his brothers Techmarine Plato planted within his land raider several melta charges that he rammed straight into the Eldar Webway gate destroying himself and a large chunk of the Eldar forces.

With no route of escape the Eldar Storm Guardians were quickly mopped up by suppression fire laid down by the enraged Terminators. After Successfully retrieving all the relics and the remnants of the Land Raider that Plato used it was rebuilt and is called Plato’s Fury. The Librarian that had slew the Eldar Farseer is now the Chief Librarian of The Wanderers Chapter as it was still vacant since 50 years before.

Prehistory
The wanderers were once called the Knight's Legion. A secret within the chapter, the Knight's Legion were formerly one of the brightest and staunch warriors of the imperium. The Wanderers are now a shadow of their former selves as their chapter planet and their original head quarters staff were slaughtered. The chapter renamed itself the Wanderers as they felt that they would wander the universe to fight the enemies of the Imperium.
The Wanderers now organize themselves into Knight Hosts being around 30-50 Astartes. And the smallest version the Angelic Cell being around 10-29 Astartes. The largest and least common is the Grand Company 51-140 Astartes in grand total. The chapter has only 2 Grand Companies, 3 Knight Hosts, and 4 Angelic cells’ all consisting of different numbers that are randomized. The chapter currently has 450 members all of which is spread among the 3 organizations. The Chapter is lead by a Council called the Angel Princes, one of the most Notable is Captain Keltizifiel, or Prince Keltizifiel the Angel of the Flame.
The Wanderers have recently been involved in the third war of Armaggeddon. During the war they come across a particular chapter known by most as the Revilers, during this brief meeting the two chapters were described as hated enemies beyond equal measure almost to the brink of war.

Recent
The Wanderer committed 1 of its Grand Companies and 2 Knight Hosts to the War. They volunteered to aid the Black Templars, they are Lead by Chapter Master Gabriel. Chapter Master Gabriel was permitted to be apart of the War Council on the Black Templar’s capitol Battle Barge Eternal Crusader. After fighting in a battle where he claimed the head of an Ork Weird Chieftain and his technology (Which he destroyed completely after finding.) After it was found that he possessed psychic powers but only used it the Black Templars

The Chapter other activities were against the Order of the Bloody Hand, a renegade chapter. The Chapter has 1 grand company present with a Reaver Titan and 2 warhounds which were given to them to protect a valuable treasure on the planet. This Effort was lead by Angel Prince Keltizifiel and Libarian Priest Cassiel. Keltizifiel and his Grand Company were able to defeat the Eldar and the Order, with the help of the Storm Crusaders, Emperor’s Shields and Dusk Guard Chapters, that sent strike forces to aid the planet. The Wanderers also gained Merianis as a recruiting world even though the planet seemed to have no human populations after sending in a request to a nearby system the Storm Crusaders chapter sent a colony force to live in the system, and ceding the system to the Wanderers. Though the Merianis campaign took a heavy toll on the Wanderers for example the death of Cassiel gave a particular blow to the chapter. As Cassiel was a proven hero of the Chapter that was known to be strong headed and yet strong willed. It is only fitting his death was because of his strengths.

Another Wanderer Angel Prince Known as Gavreel, his close friend Techmarine Forcas and their Angelic Cell; which consisted of only 25 Astrates were positioned on the planet of Tinal IV an minor hive world, of strategic importance. The Wanderers arrived to find a planet completely at war. The PDF forces were almost completely obliterated by the invasion. Those that had survived were retreating. The enemy was a Chaos War-band lead by an Infamous Chaos Sorcerer, Crocell The Reaper. Gavreel and the Lord Commissar Sam and David the Catachan Commander (known for knife fighting.) the three Commanders decided to fight together against the Chaos War-band which contained daemons, and chaos space marines alike.

For Many weeks the wanderers lead small attacks on the chaos supply lines crippling their use of super heavy vehicles. Which the wanderers used it to their advantage.

The siege of their main capitol city which laid firmly in the hands of the Imperium was besieged for months. Neither side seemed to gain ground.

Until Gavreel decided to use the chapters advanced weaponry (Which hadn't been used before hand) on the Chaos Space Marines. Utilizing this technology taken from Xenos Races the Wanderers used this weaponry to give their Space Marines advanced bolters making them act more of a sniper rifle than a automatic weapon.

With the siege at full back blown towards the chaos forces each of the wanderers picked off leaders and and heavy weapons alike from afar. Thus completing defeating the chaos force's support against armored vehicles.

The last remants of the Leman Russ PDF forces of Tinal which consisted of 50 leman russes broke through the encircling chaos forces. Slaughtering hundreds of cultists in their wake. With the enemy line broken, Gavreel and his Angelic Cell were able to bring their full force to bare on the Chaos Sorcerer who lead a retuine and was summoning daemons onto the world.

The two met in combat and Gavreel fought well but if it wasn't for his Techmarine Forcas he would of surely perished, delivering a bolter shell to the heart of Crocell. Crocell was left on the field as the two wanderers lead the rest of the forces to a victory of the siege.

After the Siege the imperial forces looked for the last remant's of the chaos army, but with the arrival of a small contingent of another Angelic Cell lead by a Veteran Angel Bahram, he aided in defeating another contigent of forces.

But many days later a massive force of chaos forces appeared as if from nowhere, leading from the front was Chaos Lord Amduscius who lead the fore front of the entire chaos forces.

The Wanderers were contacted to retreat to another the once bustling city of Liberty Villa a once corrupted hive city that was saved a few weeks earlier by Veteran Angel Bahram and his squad mate Noremac who slaughtered the bustling school of cultists.

Lord Commissar David, took his PDF forces there to provide the Wanderers with a suitable aide as well. Gavreel and Forcas with the rest of the wanderers were able to bolster the defenses of the hive city.

Though to their suprise they saw a Daemon Prince also leading the chaos forces, (After a recon mission) it was soon revealed to them that Corcas had been resurrected by the chaos gods as a daemon prince as he still retained the same heraldry as he did in the battle before.

Though how this happened was not questioned, but only that the Daemon had to be destroyed and his forces dispersed. For a week the battle ensued till the wanderers heard word the Black Templars had sent a small contingent to aid the bewildered forces.

Gavreel and his forces defend the streets of Liberty, firing into the Chaos Space Marines while the PDF forces retreated to give the Wanderers suitable amounts of support from behind.

Veteran Angel Bahram seemed to win the day by placing a packed melta bombs onto the building in which stood an entire heavy support team of chaos forces. Though one of his squad mates Wohcarg Noremac died when activating the charges, that killed him, and stopped the formation of the Greater Daemon, a Champion of Chaos called Olamop Aithnic (A Champion of Slannessh) and a Chaos Summoner.

Gavreel had lost 10 astrates in the ensuing campaign, he knew that they could not defeat the Massive Chaos Warband by themselves, but hope came as a Black Templar force lead by Theamt a Castellan. The Black Templars has just made planetfall to aide the besieged forces. Theamt was equipped with Terminator armor and lead his Sword Brethren which then teleported onto the field where Gavreel and the last of his Angelic Cell were held up. (While Angel Bahram was busy facing a Chaos Cultist force.)

The Two commanders agreed to fight against the Daemon Prince in combat. The two Astrates lead the assualt, cutting through the Chaos Forces with steel, bolter, and sword. The Loyal Astrates forces finally reached The Daemon Prince. Alongside the Daemon Prince Stood 2 Greater Daemons. But Alongside them stood shadowy figures of Astrates claded in black and white armor. This gave the Astrates enough resolve to assault Corcell and his Greater Daemons. Gavreel jumped into the fray with his teleporter and Themat crashed through with both thunderhammers on hand to face Corcell. Gavreel and Theamt fought like heroes but it was Gavreel that cut the head of Corcell. The psychic lash banished the lesser daemons diminishing the chaos forces. The Shrouded Astrates then disappeared without a word.

The last of the chaos forces were slaughtered by the Black Templar forces. The Battle harden Commanders agreed to destroy the evidence of the chaos invasion. Gavreel and the last of his Angelic Host stayed to retrieve the fallen of their chapter and of the Loyal Imperial Guard that they served with. The Commissar Lord Sam was wounded in battle by a shot by a bolter shell from Chaos Space Marine. David the Catachan Commander literally unscathed compared to the others he had claimed the life of at least 1 chaos lord and his retuine by killing them with his knife and a hot shot lasgun.

Gavreel and his Friend Forcas found the last of their angelic cell one of their members had defected to nurgle as he had been left dieing by his Battle-Brothers (Though this only happened because he volunteered too.) He was blessed by nurgle to be a Greater Daemon of Nurgle. Gavreel and Forcas fought the beast until Forcas was consumed. Gavreel fought the daemon and placed the melta bomb that Forcas had given him before the battle, and banishing the Daemon back to the warp once it was spawned. Gavreel echoed the loss of his friend, and vowed to himself never to tell of the event he had witnessed, only to the Council. After this battle he was given a Knight Hosts. The Angelic cell which was renamed the Forcain Cell.

Angel Prince Gavreel was given a Power Sabre inscribed with the names of all his fallen brothers of the Battle of Tinal. He has lead many successful campaigns ever since against the Chaos Space Marines.

The Wanderers Organization
The Wanderers No-long follow the codex astrates, deeming it ignorant of all current events. And as their number is only 600, they will not follow company organizational patterns, and all rules of the book. Much to the dismay of the Ultramarines, the Wanderers do not keep a single color according to where they are in correlation to what system they enter.
The Wanderers Organize their chapter into Angelic Cells, Knight Hosts, and Grand Companies.
Grand Companies are all that remain of the first company and the major companies of the chapter. Instead of just 100 battle brothers the Grand Companies are 120-140 in strength, there are only 2 active at a time. Both are lead by Archangel Gabriel and Archangel Tyrael. Keltizifiel was once granted Tyrael’s Grand Company, but immediately after the battle of merianis, it was taken from him.
The Knight hosts are known for being larger in campaign and Greater in numbers (roughly). Most of the members of the knight hosts are initiates, and neophytes. The Knight hosts sometimes have veterans of the chapter, these form the backbone and the image of the chapter. There are only 8 Knight hosts comprising of 30-60 Astrates, all knight hosts are lead either by an Angel Prince or Angel Priest or an Angel Noble. The 1st Knight Host is the exception, the largest and most elite, it is lead by the legendary Angel Prince Keltizfiel. Knight hosts are organized similar to codex in that they have tactical marines, devastator marines, assault squad marines, and command squads.

Angelic Cells are smaller and rarer consisting of 10-30 battle brothers, they usually maintain recruiting worlds keeps or smaller campaigns. Three cells are lead by Angels or any other officers. Each Angelic cell holds a recruiting worlds for a Knight Host that they originate from or the entire chapter. For example the Forcas’s Avengers recruit from the World of Tanil a minor hive world. They recruit specifically for the 3rd knight or Gavreel Slayers.

The Chapter ever since losing its homeworld now have 12 recruiting worlds to replace their chapter losses, this have proven successful as they were once only number around 250. Now they number 600 Battle brothers and show no signs of stopping, though this in no due to part to the valiant efforts of the former First Company of the Wanderers which survived the war against the necrons. As they were assigned to a different planet under the command of Kelitizifiel and many other officers that were fighting a blood tide. They came relatively unscathed compared to the rest of the remaining chapter and set across space with the remnants of the chapter looking for fortresses they had once shared with the former chapter master and the secret storage facilities made by other chapters that are now deceased. (Most notably the Wild Cats and Order of the Bloody Hand Chapters.) This helped to boost the loss of power armor, and weapons of war. The Adeptus of Terra then aided the chapter to gain its rights a full chapter once again.

Thats my lore.

Here is the fluff of my Death Korps Of krieg 92th heavy assult regiment.

The 92th heavy assult regiment also know as the Sons Of The Reik was found sometime after the 12th black Crusade. They have ever since their creation proven thmeself in the most hostile of enviorments, their leader since their founding has been Lord General Quisling Reichlander, This old and grizzeld veteran has seen his regiment mauled by war against traitors, xenos and daemons on counless worlds. He has developed a reputation as a cold and cruel man, althou this has to some exstence proven to be wrong.

The regiemnts most glorious hour came when they held out for two months, against a massive hive world rebelion realted to the 13th black crusade. During these bloody and insane month they purge the enthier hive world, by flame and chemical weapons they learend the heretics to fear the men of Krieg. Also it is noted that this campagin saw the destruction of no more than twelve enemy super heavy units, these kills where contributed to the regiments own super heavy regiemtn known as the Tiger aces, due to their ferocity in battle. Another part of the regiment that showed its abilty to hold out against all odds where a detachment of Strom troopers of the 157th Strumtroop regiement, these men held of waves upon waves of heretics supporte by traitor astartes. By their hands died scores of traitors astartes and counless heretics.

After this campagin the regiment was severly understrengt but recived reinforcemtns directly from Krieg, there was several Lords who raised alarm aouth the use of chemical weapons but these was switfly silenced. Either by Segemntum Command or by the Lord Generals own hands.

The regiment is now currently involved with the purging of heretics from a neighbouring system to the Cadian gate.

White Swords

The White Swords are a 3rd Founding Chapter, formed from Ultramarine gene-stock, and still holds close ties with Macragge. Their home planet of Jubilation is entirely lethal to human life at sea level, it's large mass meaning that the planet's surface is in a state of high pressure, impossible for humans to inhabit. The only part inhabited by humans is the hive city, Vermillion, which was built upon a hundred massive platforms, each the size of a city, which themselves were built upon the highest mountain peaks of the highest mountain range on the planet, where the air pressure is more suited to life. The White Swords' Fortress-Monastery occupies one such platform along with hundred of civilian hab blocks. This is why Vermillion is one of the most orderly hives in the Imperium, as the White Swords live with the people they are sworn to protect, and morale is high. Vermillion's purpose in the first place was in order to mine the precious reserves of promethium and ceramite that are found deep beneath the mountains of Jubilation, but its secure position as the host of one of the Emperor's Space Marine Chapters means that it has become a thriving economic center as well. What the White Swords think of the civilian population is well known. It is common knowledge within the sector that while some Chapters fight for honour, glory, or to vanquish the enemies of the Emperor; the White Swords fight first, foremost and always to protect the Emperor' people. They believe that the Imperium's heart is not the bureaucratic system that runs it or the legacy and history it leaves behind, but the heart is its people, who work night and day, year after year for the future generations. This tendency is put down to the constant interaction between Astares and human that must happen when the Fortress Monastery is only a stone's throw away from major market and habitation sectors. From the Fortress Monastery, a White Sword only needs to look outside to be reminded of why, and for what he fights.

One other factor attributed to their humanitarian streak is their constant brushes with Imperial Guard regiments, especially those designated the '77th'. They have fought alongside the '77th' regiment of many different worlds a hundred times and each time, either due to chance or fate or the divine hand of the Emperor or the cruel machinations of Tzeench, that regiment was annihilated, but not without completing their orders. It is because of this that the White Swords often refer to themselves as the '77th Chapter' and adorn their armour and vehicles as such as other Chapters would adorn theirs with names of their own heroes.
Of course, because of their rare humanitarian streak, the White Swords have also clashed with several other factions of the Imperium, during the Garlonzan Crusade during M37 for example. The White Swords 5th Company were fighting side-by-side with the forces of Governor-General Xiortal of Warmaster Alexander Atticus's personal retinue against the Orks. During the first months of the campaign on Jochahim VIII, Xiortal ordered thirteen regiments of Guardsmen to storm a formation of Ork Roks that were being used as supply depots by the Orks of Warboss SpineSmasha. However, Governor-General Xiortal neglected to assign them sufficient armoured units and super-heavies on the grounds that the target was not vital enough to the campaign to assign such valuable assets, despite the Roks boasting many DeffDreds, Killa Kans, looted Leman Russes and at least one looted Baneblade. Twelve of the thirteen regiments were utterly annihilated, and the other was reduced to a shell of its former self, of which the 35 surviving members were executed for retreating from the field of battle. Upon hearing the news, the 5th Company Captain at the time, Gideon Korn, demanded answers from the Governor-General, and upon discovering Xiortal's lack of remorse or regret, promptly shot him in the head with a bolt-round. Gideon then assumed overall command of the Imperial forces on Jochahim VIII and gained victory twice as quickly as the Imperial strategy analysts had predicted for the campaign under Xiortal's hand. The respect that Gideon earned from the other Imperial forces due to his victory ensured that he was not condemned for overstepping his authority in the manner that he did and committing a quite treasonous action, Inquisitors of the Ordo Hereticus also conceded that, in the end, everything had turned out for the better.
However, Gideon was a recipient of extremely fortunate circumstances in this regard, unlike Captain Urlon Hawker of the 4th Company during M39, who when serving alongside several regiments of the DeathKorps of Krieg on Tarlon V, came to clashes with the DeathKorps after the Basilisks leveled an entire hab district still teeming by civilians fleeing the Chaos advance. An Inquisitor of the Ordo Hereticus who was assigned in an advisory station to the Guard Commander promptly declared the Captain Excommunicate Traitoris along with his entire company and the 1st Company Veterans and 10th Company Scouts assigned to the force. Urlon Hawker and his company disappeared soon after learning of this verdict, melting into the hive-streets of Tarlon V and continuing the fight against the Chaos force independently of the main Imperial force, who was now convinced that the 4th Company had turned renegade. After 14 months or guerilla fighting against both the Chaos army and the Imperial Kill-teams sent to eliminate them, Captain Hawker and three squads of tactical marines were caught in a trap by Inquisitor Marmon Helveticus of the Ordo Hereticus. It was shortly after this incident that Chapter Master Leo Werner arrived to the theatre of war with another three companies. He was able to placate the vengeful Guard and Inquisition forces enough to make them rescind the status of Excommunicate Traitoris from the survivors of the 4th Company, numbering some 40 Astartes, since the main perpetrator, Captain Hawker, had been punished according to his crime. However, Canoness Victoria Exlasion of the Emperor's Thunder Sisters of Battle Convent disagreed and argued that the White Swords 4th Company should have not obeyed their Captain after his orders to attack loyalist Guard forces, and that their actions had delayed the Imperial progress on this front by several months. Leo Werner countered that they had done as the Codex Astartes demanded of them, to which Canoness Exlasion had no answer.
Since then, the White Swords have continued to strike out against those of the Imperium that are uncaring of the welfare of their citizens, but now with a distinct measure of caution to their actions, often attacking in more vocal terms to begin with, acting when the circumstances are clearly in their favour, or as a last resort, disguising their attacks as the work of enemy advances or simply leaving no survivors or evidence for the Inquisition to investigate. The Emperor's Thunder Convent has been suspicious of the White Swords since Tarlon V and a clash between the two factions is regarded by both as simply a matter of time.

They are follow the Codex Astartes more or less to the letter, as is expected of progenitors of Robute Gulliman, however, there is one squad in particular that strays from the tome, and that is their Honour Guard. If a Space Marine chapter is based on the principle of the small elite force that can deploy swiftly and fulfill many battlefield roles, then the White Swords Honour Guard is the small elite force within a small elite force. Comprised of between four and ten members at any time, the Honour Guard must consist one raised sternguard veteran, one raised vanguard veteran, one raised chaplain (sniper) and one raised terminator. The current configuration as of M41.998.874 is Wolf, sternguard; Eagle, vanguard, Specter, chaplain-sniper; Tauros, close combat terminator; Champion, Chapter champion; and lastly, Angelos, vanguard. They are often sent out as a strike to eliminate enemy leaders and to neutralize certain elements that require the expertize that only the best can provide, sometimes even used on loan to Inquisitors in dire needs. Though their numbers may be small, they are truly the best Chapter have to offer in terms of field operatives, most of whom have turned down Captaincy offers for one reason or another, though Specter is deemed second only to the Reclusiarch himself in terms of seniority. When not assembled, the Honour Guard fulfill the role of squad leaders, force commanders and sometimes even drill sergeants, this in order to spread their skills amongst the initiates that will inherit the chapter's responsibilities after them. The last role they fulfill is that of Seekers of the Swords.

Part of the White Swords lore is that, nearing the end of the Horus Heresy, a set of seventy-seven power swords of all shapes and sizes were crafted in Macgragge, hewn from the marble of that world. However, before they could be delivered to the Ultramarine chapter to be tested in battle, they were lost and dispersed amongst the stars. The Ultramarines themselves offer no enlightenment on the veracity of their Successor Chapter's legend, but nevertheless, the White Swords truly believe that one day, the seventy-seven white swords will be in the hands of the successors of Gulliman once more, and when that day comes, Robute Gulliman will have recovered from the injuries that was inflicted upon him by Fulgrim, and will rise from his resting place to lead the Ultramarines and the Imperium in a last crusade to cleanse the galaxy. So far, the White Swords have collected 39 of the venerated blades, and are awarded to Company Captains and squad sergeants who have proved their worth. The task of retrieving a located blade is taken very seriously, and it is not unheard for the Chapter Master to deploy entire companies to retrieve the sword. It is the only objective that the White Swords will hold higher that the lives of civilians, and have grudgingly left some battle zones undermanned in order to concentrate on the blade. However, it is usually swifter and more pertinent to assemble the Honour Guard to retrieve the Sword, as the official Seekers. Two swords are already used by the Honour Guard, the first is the Ultra Sword, a relic blade taller than a marine in Tactical Dreadnought Armour, wielded by the Champion, who needs to be in Terminator Armour simply to handle it effectively. Its size has led to speculation that is was intended for the Ultramarine Primarch's personal use. The second blade has no known name, and is a relic blade roughly as high as the average human. Eagle however, wields it easily in one hand as he descends from the sky using his jump pack, plasma pistol firing from his right hand, bringing silent and efficient death to the enemy.

The White Swords' rivalry with hostile forces changed markedly in the closing days of M41. For millennia, they had been engaging mostly with the xenos forces of Ultima Segmentum, specifically, the Eldar Craftworld of Kaminari'tan. However, an event of truly staggering calamity changed their outlook somewhat. What does a Chapter do when sixty percent of their members swear loyalty to the Chaos Gods? This is what happened during a Service of the Blades, a ceremony held once each decade in honour of the Emperor and their Primarch. Every White Sword not in a current theatre of war is obliged to attend, and this was a rare year that held more or less a perfect attendance. The rebel factions, later discovered to be led by the Reclusiarch-turned-Dark Apostle Darnolyon Vorn, failed to strike a truly decisive blow even with surprise on their side, and Chapter Master Ontario Virgil quickly organized the surviving loyalists (which included every member of the 1st Company except the Captain and his Command Squad) to barricade the exits to the city outside and to block them escaping the Fortress-Monastery by any means. Bitter fighting raged between brothers for a whole week before relief arrived in the form of several Abraxian regiments of Guard, and two forces from two neighboring Astartes chapters, the Brotherhood of Thunder and the Brothers of Metal. Their arrival coincided with a large Chaos fleet and landing force that, in hindsight, clearly meant to strike at the same time as the initial rebellion. Battles raged in the space above Jubilation as well as in the streets of Vermillion, and it was almost a month before the Darnolyon Vorn was finally killed by a hellfire round headshot courtesy of Specter's sniper rifle. With their leader defeated, the traitors were systematically butchered in chamber to chamber sweeps. The only surviving White Swords traitor is the 1st Company Captain, may his name never be mentioned for his dishonour, who escaped into the warp with the assistance of a Word Bearers Sorcerer. He and Champion built a truly savage rivalry between them in the week of confined conflict that they shared, and they dueled each other a score or more times, neither managing to gain victory. On the day of their victory inside the monastery, Chapter Master Ontario Virgil and the surviving White Swords stepped outside the monastery for the first time in a month and were horrified by the destruction and carnage that had been wreaked upon the city and the people that they knew and had sworn to protect to the death. They did not pause to rest from their battles within the monastery, but instead immediately fell upon the Chaos forces nearest to them. It was another two weeks of hard fighting before the Chaos forces were forced to withdraw. Only 189 loyalist White Swords were left alive, of those, 65 were 1st Company. They were immediately ordered to be executed by Yrkimir Naddon, an Inquisitor of the Ordo Hereticus, but his decision was withheld after hearing the pleas of the other Space Marine Chapters, Guard Regiments and High Standing Civilians that unanimously proclaimed that the actions of the White Swords both within and without the Monastery vindicated them of any suspicion of taint. The only compromise the Inquisitor would accept was that they be individually subjected to strenuous tests and rites to prove their purity. As one, the survivors satisfied the Inquisitor's suspicions beyond doubt, and they were allowed to continue as a Chapter, with certain conditions of periodical inspections imposed upon them. Since then, the White Swords have been slowly rebuilding their forces, and have recovered by three full companies to this date. Their targets have also changed, concentrating more and more on Chaos-aligned targets than their usual Xenos fare. They still search for the 1st Company Captain, eager to erase the last traitor to survive, and the 1st Company Captaincy remains empty, the Chapter Master having taken command of it as his own. Specter is currently the acting Reclusiarch, as no other Chaplain has nearly enough experience to maintain the position. The Honour Guard spend most of their time training the massive influx of initiates that are needed to rebuild.
At this point, the White Swords have managed to replenish their numbers to four full companies, not including the over-burdened Scout Company, and a current total of 423 Battle-Brothers.
The White Swords do not care about the fact that several of their battle-brothers recently turned traitor, for to them, wounds to their personal honour is nothing compared to the lives of millions of their civilians that were lost in the battle for Vermillion. To let them die is their true shame, and they will bear it, to turn their shame into determination that the mistake will not be repeated, on this or any other world they set foot upon. Even if it means to save lives is to face their own extinction.

Legendary Master of the Chapter

Chicago, Illinois

I really liked all the lore thus far
So i shall paste my other work

The Storm Crusaders are a massive chapter containing at least 3,700 Space Marines. Due to its large size it is often sent on campagians, that are long and bloody. The Chapter is orgainized into compaines like normal space marine chapters but this chapter differs in its names and its orginzation of its compainies. The 2-5 Compaines are Battle Compaines, that are usually sent on campagians in the Ghoul Stars, the 6th-9 compaines are reserve compaines that protect the fortress Monestary from harm. The 10th,14,16,17,18th,19th,20th,22nd and the 23rd are all Campagianing Companies, These are the main bulk of the chapter, but unlike battle compaines they specialize in a certain type of Battle Brother. For Example the 10th Company Nicknamed the Iron Wolves by other Imperail Orgainzations has 4 Tactical Squads, 3 Assualt Squads, and 3 Devastor Squads. Compared to the 20th company which consists of 4 Tactical, 4 Devastors, and 2 Assualt Squads. All of the companies are very indepedent from the Chapter, each company holds a fortress or Outpost in which to recurit more troops for the chapter and their company.

Unlike Most Chapters the Storm Crusaders have 5 Elite Compaines. They are orgainized into these 5 orgianzations, they so follow, the 15th The Guardians-The Defenders of the Storm Crusader's Fortress Monestary. Alpha Squadron has no company marking but is instead the special forces of the chapter, as their name dicates they deal with some of the most fearsome oppenents in the gaxaly. . The 31st Company is the Brothers of the Sword, a large company only consisting of Vanguard and SternGuard Veterans. The 21st Company is a company only consisting of Termiantors. And finnaly the 1st Company Consisting of a Mix between Vanguard, Sternguard, and Terminators.

Alpha Squadron
Edit Alpha Squadron sectionEdit

Alpha Squadron is organized into 5 man squads. Each squad is given a specefic funtiction as such each squad must peform tasks assigned too them by a specific Grand Guardian. Each Alpha Squad is moblizied in different compainies and are given certain weapons for their jobs. Each Squad is also given a specific name and Target of interest. Each member that survives the Alpha Squadron Trials become captains after the trails are completed. There are 30 squads in total. But only 20 are active at one time. The 10 other squads are kept with the Grand Templars. Each Alpha Squadron Leader is also given a specific duty in the chapter. And are also told of the secrets of the chapter. Many Librarians are joint into Alpha Squads as acting as seers and powerful aids against demons. Librarians are joint to these squads for extended periods. Each squad member when he joins the Alpha Squadron Abandons all names and titles until the trails are finished. But the most famous Alpha Squads is the Squad Calnor Alrnia, Malick Tori, Val Yoal, Mortis "Wolf", Garane Oron, and Talick Tori, are one of the most legendary squads of the alpha squadron.

Calnor Alrnia- Grand TemplarEdit Calnor Alrnia- Grand Templar sectionEdit

A Legend Among the Storm Crusaders Calnor Alrnia is the Grand Templar of the Storm Crusaders. His services in the Imperium date back over 8 centuries. His first years of a Space Marine Showed a promising young Neophyte with the honor of a Warrior, he's ambitions to be the best, and to one day save humanity grown even more closer. Calnor Alrnia was once part of the Alpha Squadron along with Val and Malick. And the three of them are now brothers in arms and Leaders of the Chapter. As a Grand Templar Calnor Alrnia is the embodiment of the Chapter. Calnor is proud, taciturn, intelligent, a natural leader. He is fearless as a warrior and his swordsmanship is only matched by the Black Templar's High Marshal. Calnor is also bearer of two relics of the chapter. The Talnris, a sword of an ever burning spirit and the Angel Armor, the self repairing armor and the spirit of the chapter. Truly Calnor is a legend, as he has taken slew of enemies. Killing of a Daemon Prince in the Griminar System, Assassination of a Chaos Lord, Killing of a Dark Eldar Lord, and even banishing over 200 demons in his time in the Storm Crusaders, this is but a small fraction of acts he has done. As the missions of his time in the Alpha Squadron are still shrouded in Mystery. But Calnor Alrnia Bears a secret that all of the Members of the Chapter Council hold as a burden. To speak of it would mean death. And those outside of the Council would meet their death because of this secret.

Edit The 1st Company. sectionEdit

The 1st company is lead by Captain Navious..
Captain Navious is Relatively new to his position . Though his experience is not questioned. It is merely his youth. As he is a replacement for the Late Captain Garane. Even though he may not live up to the Captain's Legendary performance as a captain. Navious is a extraordinary leader and tactician. Navious is also a great warrior and he can easily adapt to any situation that arises. Though he is inexperienced he has his sergeants to aid him in this new endeavor...
The 1st has 6 Sternguard squads, 3 Vanguard Squads, and 1 Fully Equipped Terminator Squad. The First is where the recruits of 21st and 15th companies arise from. Needless to say they are technically the greatest soldiers in the chapter. But they are just recruits for the 2 other companies.

The 10th Company The Iron WolvesEdit The 10th Company The Iron Wolves sectionEdit

The 10th company is lead by Captain Loken Malicith, a tactican and a great warrior. His 10th Company are his elite warriors that would follow him to the pits of hell itself. Loken is a strange figure in that he is very "human" his emotion spikes at times and can be seen as a juvenile compared to his older battle brothers. The 10 Segearnts under his command are all warriors without peer and most of them specialize in the way of the sword, the company usually takes to the field in an armored assualt. The 10th company is known as the Iron Wolves, this name shows with their usual tactic of an armored assualt and ambushes.

The 2 leaders dispatched with Loken are Chief Libarian Talnar and Chaplain Roquir. Chief Libarian Talnar is one of 5 Chief Libarian's who maintain the chapter's massive libariarus. Chaokaub Roquir is loken's tutor and trainier, the Chaplain is also the oldest living member in the 10th Company.

Following the 10th Company to war is former 1st Company Captain Garane. Garane is entombed in a Dreadnought, due to his venerable status he is never put out into the front lines, but he does usually ignore this and fights in the fronts of battle.

The 10ths Tactical Squads all are equiped with anti infantry weaponry. The two leading tactical squads are Lucius and Logar. Lucius is a swordsmen with intellgence and tactical intuition, Logar is the shoot first ask questions later type of Segreant. The last Two Segerants are Valicorn and Brother Segerant Kalin. Valicorn is a swordsmen as well but he is mostly known for his skills with a storm bolter, he has accounted for 20 marksmen honors. Brother Segerant Kalin is the youngest of the 4 tactical Segerants, he bears a poweraxe a incredibley rare version of a power weapon, but he gained this after he slew a necron lord in combat (true story).

The Assualt Squad Segerants are Jackal, Goron, and Jenkins. Segerant Jackal is the hot headed leader of the insertion squad beta, a squad that has deemed many honors for striking in the heart of the enemy. Goron is the pyschotic warrior weilding a twin thunder hammer, till this day noone knows why he carries them. Jenkins is the fool hardy joker of the 10th, his inspirational deeds have gained him status in the Chapter itself.

The Devastor Squad segerants are by far the greatest marksmen in the entire chapter they are Yain, Helis, and Balin. Yain is the second oldest member of the company but he is one of glory day warriors. Helis is the hot headed heavy bolter expert with the finest aim in the company. Balin is the patient hunter whose tank hunting skills are behind imaginable.

The 10th company also has 2 sternguard squads and a Terminator Squad that is joint with it.
The Stern Guard Segerant is Templar Garro, and Templar Nihilus. Garro is a patient, cunning warrior, he is also a bearer of the Iron Halo and the Sword of the Temple with the sword arm of even Loken Himself. Nihilus is a sword master as well but unlike Garro he is more tacticful and bolder than Garro.

The Terminator Squad Segerant is Ulrius, he is one of the most daring of all the squads. He and his squad deepstrike into the heart of the enemy. He is bold and he is known as the "The Devil's Fool".

The Flaw

Shortly After the 5th War of Drancoris. The Storm Crusaders inspected the geneseed of the Storm Crusaders, after months of anaylizing it, the Arch Traitor Calis had left a curse on the chapter. His blood was fused with theirs. All of the Storm Crusaders inducted into the chapter were now going to be give two more tasks. The tests of purity, and the tests of will. As failed asprints are sometimes now turned into hulking monstrioticities Ripping through anything that stood in their way. Deep below the Fortress monastery the Chapter has sent a redeemer force consisting of the Alpha Squadron and the 15th company to kill any of the remnants of the corrupted.
The blood of Calis has mutated the genestore of the 25th, 26th, 27th, 28th, 7th, and 8th companies. This has severely weakened the chapter as the augmentations were given to these companies and just in a few days their forms changed into hulks and the chapter has been fighting a secret war with the mutants in the fortress monastery. Not even the inquisition knows of this secret war.
