Just a fantasy so far but as my my ork collection continues to grow I was thinking something along these lines would be nice:

HQ 170

5 Nobz ( 1 Painboy, 1 PK, Banner & Combi skorcha, 1 PK & Combi skorcha, 1 BC and 1 BC & BP)

30 Slugga and choppa Boyz ( 1 Nob w. PK & BP)

30 Shoota Boyz ( 1 Nob w. PK & BP)

30 Shoota Boyz ( 1 Nob w. PK & BP)

Heavy 450

3 Killa Kanz w. Rokkits

3 Killa Kanz w. Grotzookas

3 Killa Kanz w. Megablastas

Total 1500 pts.

Strategy will be basic kan-wall.

Simple but effective. What i am wondering is if the 5 man strong mob of Nobz is worth it or if it should be replaced with say lootas or other fun elites ( 2x5 lootas and 5 burnas would replace them, and stay in pointlimit (and free 10 pts).

And are Megablastas worth the extra points?

i wouldnt take those nobs, they are so expensive, and can get shot up easily. I would take lootas or just my boyz

Yeah, the more I think about it more bodies on the table is usually a good thing for orks, so adding a bunch of lootas and burnas will spice it up.

I would recommend 3x5 squad of lootas

that is 225 points,

i would also just use rokkits on all kans ( best BS in the army, that will free up some points from the mega blastas for the lootas) If you expand to a larger point value, I would reccommend some TL rokkit buzzsaw deffkoptas. Your armies weakness( as all kan walls) is that it is slow, adding in a fast element such as the deffkoptas gives you some new options. ( and the 1st turn strike with them on vehicles is just awesome.)

What you want to go for roughly is this:

Drop the nobz, and the megablastas and the grotzookas on the kanz, replace with rokkits. Get some koptas with buzzsaws and use them to outflank, boost and then eat the rear armour of vehicles. The lootas are very handy for fire support, and I would reccomend 4 squads of 20 rather than 3 squads of 30, as it gives more manourability, another PK and easier to use terrain.

Grotzookas are awesome, and cheap. I'd play 2 squads of Kanz with Rokkits, and 1 group w/ Grotzookas.

I'd drop the Nobz, and add in Lootas and Deffkoptas.
