I was really hesitant about the blood. Just because I've seen pics of scenes where blood is over used ( I know there is Bo such thing, but that's my opinion), so I didn't want to make it tacky.

And the orks are giving them a beating, not a choppin :p Also, I was under the impression that marines are more or less contained in their armor, trapping them in there with their fluids. The exception being the marine with his arm ripped off. I shall lay some blood by him.

Here you can see some blood that has left the space marine, the blood on the chop that was used to sever said arm, and some blood flick that left the arm and sprayed a nearby ork I'm gonna darken the blood when I get home today

Where is this not "fluff accurate"? Orks beating the living daylights out of Fairy Marines seems pretty fluff accurate to me.

Cool diorama, btw. I'll be showing this to my friend who plays Fairy Marines. My favorite is the one getting beaten to death with his own arm.

I like it! It's fun.

The marine being beaten by his own arm amuses me so much, partly because marines are tough enough to survive losing it, so da boy ain't quite dun krumpin' 'im.

You've managed to squeeze a ton of character out of very minimally converted models. I'm impressed.

really nice diorama, all the little stories going on blend together nicely, 'alwayz fun ta beat a humie to deaf wiv iz own armz'. I'd like to see a follow up diorama with some guard mounting a counterattack, with some sneaky gitz ambushing the guard, then we can have MOAR BLOOD!!!

That's a good idea! Though I have some models to paint for my army, and another project cooking on the side, I'll have to whip up a counter attack later :p

This is awesome! I laughed my way through it. Loved the Marine getting beaten w/ his own severed arm, reminded me of the bravado of "I'm going to tear your arm off and beat you to death with it" sort of thing.

I'll be the dissenting voice and say NO to the "more blood" mantra. Blood effect seems to always be so OTT and it's completely cliched. I think giving the Marines a good ol' fashioned kickin' is in good Ork form and need not be a bloodbath.

I say it looks fine the way it is. a little blood, like with the disarticulated arm, may be a nice touch, make it a touch, not a flood...
