Thanks for those comments, for the paintjob the inspiration came from the cover of the last Space Wolves Codex:



And for the bases, they are home-made. A friend of mine has a laser-cutting table, so I had him cut several hundreds of plexiglas runes and disks that I just glue around standard GW bases:

Not to ignore the otherwise snazzy models and photos, but those bases blow my mind. Such a subtle and elegant touch.

Oadie, most of the medium size automotive workshops would have one; and most of those tables are piloted by a PC with Autocad or a similar software. It would probably not cost an arm and leg to approach them, draw a couple of items and have a couple of sheets cut for you

An interesting compositional change for space wolves with the grey hair and dark skintones. The charcoal armor was something I considered a few times before I went with Baby blue on mine, neat to see a well done example like that!

Yup, got featured on their Facebook page on 8th of July.

I initially painted those for myself (I'm not even a hardcore player), but when I won the Golden Camel (the Dubai equivalent of the Golden Daemon), I thought "let's submit my work to my peers judgment". Not a lot of votes here or on CMON though. Maybe when I find time to post the individual miniatures pictures
