I don't have the book with me so sorry for forgetting spell names and such. There is a spell that allows your army to summon a unit from pretty much any other army book and put it into battle. The breakdown is, iirc, 75, 150, and 300 points depending on dominance. Since we're supposed to have crib notes already done for this spell as well as having the models readily available, which non-Skaven units would best compliment a Skaven army?

Steam tank as Klawmunkast's Rat Tank.

Some sort of Cav would probably work well, too.

The problem is, Skaven are so well balanced in unit selection(only lacking Cav and Monstrous Cav), that there's not really much we can summon that we don't have units to cover already.

Just remember folks. Panic. Panic all the time. It's the only way to survive, other than just being mindful, of course-but geez, that's so friggin' boring. - Aegis Grimm

I've got a bunch of Brets I could use. Don't know how effective they'll be at 75 points but if I don't have at least equilibriam I'm probably losing anyway.

75 point cap? Mangler Squig.
150 points opens up a lot more options, but a rune'd up warmachine (dwarf), great cannon, or warshrine are all nice, as is 4 flamers of tzeench.
300 points gives tons of options, more limited by models than anything else. While steam tank is fun, I always wanted a cauldron of blood with my skaven. Nothing quite like a ton of bonus attacks, a ward save or killing blow.

Can't summon unique unit types.

Can't summon Daemons, Vamps or TKs. Not sure if runeing up a warmachine counts as "magic items."
