The one from Hellraiser would probably be Vayl. She has the

Hmmm... don't know if I want Naaresh anymore... His concept art looked great. His model just seems ... I don't know... crowded?

The paintjob on Naaresh's weapon make them look a tad melty and indistinguishable.

Redeemer's face looks like a RT era Beakie.

It's always kind of looked like that. Except, for some reason, it
has tubes mounted to its face.

I worry that the Naaresh sculpt is too simple. Needs more random crap hanging off of it.

Artwork usually trumps models imo, hard to fit in all the details into small scale

malfred, are you thinking of Phantasm? That had the orbs with the blades. Hellraiser had all the pierced flesh and the puzzleboxes.

Yeah I was just thinkin' that. My first thought was "I can't even tell what he's armed with...". Not a fan of that one to be honest.

I'm also trying to work out where the Redeemer shoots its missiles from.

Then you shouldn't try. This model is a clear result of someone trying to make their model as true to the concept artwork as possible, and ending up with a muddled mess as a result. Sometimes you just have to accept that the canvass that is a 28mm miniature ain't quite as roomy as a big nice piece of paper and that not everything can be included in the final product.

In this day and age there is no reason for blades that short to need that sort of width or bulk. I'm quite disappointed in that aspect as it shatters the suspension of disbelief I normally get when looking at a cool new model. His face could be more expressive too, but that really isn't a big deal compared to the 6 inch thick blades.

Those little bumps on his missile pod are actually hatches that are supposed to open and launch the rockets. I didn't get it either until I saw an illustration in no quarter.

Ah, right. I knew it had to have something to do with the obviously-not-a-HTH-weapon arm, but I really was beginning to wonder if the spikes on his shoulders were the tips of the missiles.

Yoor Speeshawl too Gawd!

It makes me very sad that Skorne either get screaming heads or ridiculous poses with no in between. :(

Naaresh looks way too busy for me and don't like whatever that thing is on his back.

Redeemer is a nice update but never really liked its head even now. Now just waiting for an updated Reckoner..

Once again, Skorne fail to live up to the art.

Like always.

Really? I much prefer the model to the art. Pose is a lot less awkward.

I like it. The punch dagger blades are a bit on the thick side, but the overall level of detail on the model fits what I expect this character to be so I'm fine with it looking rather busy.

The sink.

Damnit right after I get out of Skorne they put out Nihilators. Now it looks like they have a Nihilator caster. Quit it PP!

I think the model could stand to be a LOT more dynamic. It kind of looks like they went for the body being one solid piece instead of doing the separate arms that the artwork suggests.

Granted, I am not a huge fan of the concept in general, but the final model seems very bland, and other than the "WOW so much detail! Why?!" issue, looks like it is from the early 2000's or before.

Really loving the Skorne warlock, that's one awesome sculpt.

No idea how people are getting "to much detail" it looks great from all directions via the PP websites rotatable view.

From the rotatable view the model still looks pretty nice, the blades look less melty, but they still don't look at all like blades based on their silly thickness.
