Is this a themed Nurgle list? Would you consider any other gods? If you really want a competitive Ard Boyz list, go with dual lash DP's. Also, only 3 troops at 2.5K? Drop 1 chosen unit and maybe a couple of plaguemarines to get at least another troop choice in there, whether it be lesser daemons, another unit of plaguemarines or even both!

Looks like a really solid list, I played a very similair list a couple of days ago. I second that you need more troops choices, drop the chosen and get some more plague marines in. You don't really need them if you have 9 obliterators, that much firepower wrecks anything. To further enhance the obliterators, i would recommend running twin lash, and if you have any points spare get some berserkers! I would also say to drop the combi flamers and get combi meltas instead, this way you won't be in a dilemma when it comes to target choice. Otherwise, a very good list!

It's supposed to be nurgle themed, since nurgle is the man. But I guess if I wanted to make it more competitive I could drop the one cheap squad of chosen and the summoned greater daemon for another squad of PM, or possibly zerkers. The nurgle princes should probably be swapped out for lash princes too, to maximize my firepower options. So here's a new list:

I'd turn 1-2 of those Melta PM squads into PG squads.

I like that second list a lot more though.

Yeah the second list looks more solid, I just wish I was still running a greater daemon. I've never run one before .

The second list is far better. Don't worry about not taking a greater daemon, from experience they don't do anywhere near as good as you might think, in addition to their unreliability, its just a 100 point point sink.

Yeah, I figured the greater daemons would be kinda lame sauce. Without wings and without a +3/+5, they just seem sort of like giant targets.
