This is amazing.

There's a whole series of the songs done by disk drives. I love the floppy disk shouts in that one though. Nice touch.

Also, the video game boss thing I think comes down to the style of boss. Is it a giant flaming demon monster? He's toast. Too obvious a bad guy and he's getting a rainbow cannon pose-down to the face before he makes it half a block into town.

A subtle corruption type of guy who manipulates while pretending to be nice would really screw with their trusting lets all be friends nature however. Assuming canon AJ doesnt get the Element of Honesty Lie Detector ability she often gets in the fanfics or he otherwise is able to avoid her.

Seeing as the boss I fought last was "The Boss" from MGS3, I think Metal Gear Twilight would be in order...

I watched MLP and Strawberry Shortcakes when a little kid with my sister (2 years younger than me), while waiting the boys cartoons, and damn me if I didn't enjoyed them xD

Guess what I added to my Instant Queue.

Sadly I don't have Netflix at the moment. Went with Hulu+ instead so I could watch my favorite shows (at least most of them) on my mobile device. Really though if I wasn't not perpetually strapped for cash I'd buy all the episodes on iTunes if for no other reason than a show of support for the makers. Except maybe Last Roundup... I dont like how they handled that situation.

Maybe have the Smooze be one of those mid-game environmental bosses that you need to navigate, like the ship in Mario games.

I'd say watch more than just two. The reason is you want to watch the first two episodes for the real introduction to the characters and their personalities, but they're not the strongest episodes. Still good mind you, just others are better. My personal favorite is the third episode of season two.

of come on, we all know you've seen all the episodes already

jokes aside, "the last round up" was pretty good (not sure which episode) though season 2 is aimed a little more towards bronies so any of those episodes would be a good place to start. that being said season one is still very good

also, I would watch 3 at most, 2 at least. if your not turned after 3 thenthere might be little hope for you :3

not really. after those two there is no over arching plot but I would personally say its a good idea to watch them first as it'll give you a good idea of each ponies personality

Generally it's best to start from the beginning. Each of them tend to build on the previous episodes.
