Better yet, we fill the CRASSUS ARMOURED ASSAULT TRASPORT with these sword cannons so DOOMBREAD will be most pleased!

But how will we fi the DOOMBREAD into the CRASSUS ARMOURED ASSAULT TRANSPORT if it's full of sword cannons? We have to contain the DOOMBREAD because otherwise there will be a DOOMPICNIC.
I think we should mount 4 sword cannons on the CRASSUS ARMOURED ASSAULT TRANSPORT instead leaving the inside free for DOOBREAD

Where did the story for the boss daemon sword come from though? Wanna use something like that in a RT game

Simple, have a warlord titan point ALL of its weapon systems at it and make clear to it that threatening you is a mistake and you don't let your weapons get away with any mistakes.

You can't avoid it; once you use it, you can never make another failure in combat. At that point, it will kill you.

but if you fail in combat, you generally die anyway... and what if you get a servitor to pick it up and use it?

This is why, in D&D, you always bring along sacks. When in doubt, use the sack like a glove, putting the weapon into it without touching it.
