Tough loss. Grey Knights are a handful for BA. Halberds could care less about furious charge and FNP and paladins are just nasty. Unfortunately, if you're inclined to keep playing the dual-raven BA build against his GK's, then you're going to be fighting an uphill battle almost every time. Don't try to beat paladins in assault unless you've got more assault terminators.

ouch, beaten by a 14 man army, they almost liv up to their fluff there

Against this type of army not getting stuck in right away might help, with your superior movement. However the miss-deployment of the devastators cost you this game, as they might have helped against the dreads at least

tbh, if you play double raven you need to be much more agressive, beat him at his own game what about a setup like this?

1 Mephiston

5 Terminator Assault Sq
3TH&SS, 2LC
5 Terminator Assault Sq
3TH&SS, 2LC
2 Sang Priest, JP

10 Assault Marines
2 Melta, Fist
10 Assault Marines
2 Melta, Fist

1 Stormraven EA
TLMM, TL LC
1 Stormraven EA
TLMM, TL LC

That would give you plenty of high strength shooting to mess up the paladin squad. Termies can then lock it down in hth.
then you only need mephi and the assault squads running around killing the singles/dreads/raider

"mephi and the assault squads running around killing the singles/dreads/raider" The singles will be in the reserve for as long as possible (Draigo helps here with psychic communion). When they do enter the game it won't be anywhere near mephiston or a full assault squad.

If you use ravens as gunboats and move only 6-12 that means they won't have cover and will get shot down by the dreadnaughts.

Terminators can't lock 10x paladins long enough. With banner and rerolls to wound rolls of 1, stacking hammer hand to get str 6, WS5 and I6 they fold like everything else, even with 3++ and especially with 5++.

Also Draigo alone handled easily 5 terminators alone in that game, killing 3 of them on the charge.

Mephiston might work, but has to be carefull with the movement to not get charged by GK due to psykout grenades giving him a hard time in cc.

I've got to agree with jy2 that with these lists it's an uphill battle for the BA.

ok, but that would be playing like an ass the way you present it.

Against that army i would put everything on the table. The more pressure the better,

So if you use the ravens as gunboat turn ones there is a big chance mr dready will not survive 4 s8 ap1 missiles and a TL lascannon wouldn't you agree...

then even, if you dont do that, you go flatout postitioning the ravens, next turn you give the pally 8 str8 AP1 2 TL las and 2L MM in the face, that will wipe the squad out...
Draigo can take on shot from each raven that still means 5 ap1/2 shot's everytime instakiling a palladin...

and you still got 10 termies to squash him ....

we have not even touched mephi nor the two assault squads who absolutely nothing to fear form the lonely pallies or the dreads...

One storm raven shooting 4 missiles, lascannon and MM does about 3.7 wounds. Draigo takes one and the rest goes to the squad, which has either 5++ or 4+ cover save. With the 5++ about 1.8 paladins die. Both of them shooting at paladins without cover save should kill 3.6 paladins. How is that exactly the whole squad gone? Now the raven is within 24" of my 4 MC psycannons which will damage the raven and this means you didn't shoot the dreadnaughts.

Also I had the first turn in that game and you just can't deploy ravens if you don't have the first turn. They don't fit on the table unless moving atleast 12" from the reserve which means they wont be shooting with full power.

If you had the first turn my dreads would definitely have cover and then even with 4 missiles and one lascannon they have a reasonable chance to survive wouldn't you agree?

I would really like to play vs the list you are suggesting. Maybe we will and then we can let you know how it went.

That BA list needs some work... like ya said, devs don't fit the bill. I prefer speeders overall; yeah, they die often. But not before they melta something!
