I am a massive fan of zombies (computer games, films and books) my first army was an undead, I played undead blood bowl teams, scavvy necromunda gangs etc. To be frank with everyone imo the current models GW produce look horrible and their use in game almost non existent. The books and fluff for VC revolve around massive horde of zombies tearing apart the living. Why is there no love for them **cry**

But really I dont know the mantic undead are great tho (from what I have seen some people are of a different opinion but hey everyone has one).

They could be cool with a new book who knows. (Dont know when the new book is coming so ya we are in for a wait I guess).

They probably don't want to push them since the model are old and, well, pretty bad. There's new models in the range to push, like the Skeletons, Ghouls and Grave Guard.

But yeah, zombies need a shakeup. They're a pretty integral part of the vampire counts fluff, and perform so badly in game people only use them as summoned speed bumps to protect other units. They should be errata'd to turn them into effective tarpits.

The old metal ghouls could substitute as zombies, if you can find them. (Ebay) I got some from a friend, and they look pretty cool.

I think the zombies look pretty good.

As for having no use, it depends on how you are using them.

All I can say about the current zombie models is why are the heads so big? A zombie is a re animated human and the models should reflect this but they don't they look anything like their empire brothers.

How much better could they get? im pretty happy with them tbh

Convert them into thriller zombies, then you can love them more than anything.

Plenty of other zombie miniatures, and zombie games that give the genre lots of love.
