Hello,

i hope someone can help me.
Last week i saw a Leman Russ conversion(tank not primarch) where the front part of the track casing was extended by roughly one inch which made the tank look a little bit like the Malcador from fw.

I hammered the search function for the last hour but could not find anything maybe someone of remembers the thread and can link it here. If i recall correctly it was a blog and it was active last week.

GW sells Leman Russ bits that include the hull, I don't know if that would be it.

The best thing about this particular signature is that by the time you realise it doesn't say anything it's far too late to stop reading it.

I am too good.

It's a nice attempt at a mini-Baneblade, but those skinny tracks look increasingly silly on larger tanks (I think they look too skinny on even a standard Russ).

In general, 'stretch' conversions like this (ditto for stretched Land Raiders) all succeed or fail on one point - the joint between the standard hull sides and the extension bits. Unfortunately, few modellers have the skill to do the joins properly, either hiding them or making them look like believable mechanical joins.

I know this is an older thread...but does anyone know if the above tank has a conversion kit sold for the main hull/chasis?

You mean as in to convert a standard leman russ into the Macarius looking thing in the warseer blog? No i highly doubt there was/is/will be any conversion kit for it.

Also don't Necro threads. It's against the rules.
