So we've all experienced this in one form or another, you hear someone mention something, and instantly you get this picture of what it is in your head. I could say, oh yea Chevrolet, and you might think Camero, or Ford, and you think Mustang. So Im curious, if you mention your chosen army, what image pops into your head? For Orks, its instantly a Nob. Not a warboss, not the boyz or some ramshackled vehicle, its a Nob. Big, strong, hardasses that have the best tools for their job. So whats yours? And be specific, dont say Space Marines and say a Space Marine, tell me what type.

I'm not sure I get it. A Necron lying on the ground smiles sinisterly at the Tau, and they fall to infighting? What?
Can I get some subtitles here?

It's more the last frame than the other two. I would have edited them out, but posting it in the gallery would surely mean it'd sooner or later would be removed by our ever watchful moderators.
But to clear up the meaning. To me the last frame represents how flame-fests on 40k related districts on internet are easily started because the topic relates to Tau. Example offenders being 'how to I win by playing Tau?', 'how does their fluff work?', 'why aren't the Tau squatted?', and so on.

I play Iron Warriors. When I think of an iconic image for them, what comes to mind is this...
A lone Chaos Space Marine, walking down a deserted street in a shattered district of a besieged city. His once immaculate armor of silver gold and black, is now a mismatched, scorched, and beaten shadow of what it once was.
His right arm and leg are long gone, having been replaced with bionic prosthetic limbs after mutation mangled his originals.
He is searching for survivors, but not to rescue them, for these Imperial dogs were offered no quarter. No, these are for sacrifice or slave labor. Those who run are to be shot.
Soon he will leave this forsaken place, to search for the next battle... or the next colony to subjugate.

For witch hunters it's probably a SoB from the Order of Our Martyred Lady.
It's like how if you say space marine most will probably go straight to a tactical marine from Ultramarines or Blood Ravens.

Id agree, the IG have some incredibly badass looking artwork.

I play Space Marines, and you said it better than I could. Specifically though, I play Salamanders, and the image I always think of is my Sternguard Sergeant. The fig is a Brother Tycho fig (painted green and with the Blood Angels logos filed off).
