I would most likely play if there was not a Subscription fee every so often. I like Warcraft 3 though... I would like too Warcraft go back to its root of RTS as Warcraft 4

I like to play games that bring a modicum of enjoyment to me, something WoW is utterly incapable of providing.

The people in the past who convinced themselves to do unspeakable things were no less human than you or I. They made their decisions; the only thing that prevents history from repeating itself is making different ones.

I used to play it, but stopped due to the fact that most endgame guilds are "Pro or GTFO." I can't play every now and then AND do endgame content, all people were looking for were certain classes (none of which interested me; I always had a knack for choosing classes and specs that Blizzard hated (Retribution Paladins) and could never get right, or were nerfed (Fury Warriors, Shadow Priests) right after I got to a decent level with them) and looking for 24/7 players to whom the guild and the game were their only worries; so feth them.

Mandorallen turned back toward the insolently sneering baron. 'My Lord,' The great knight said distantly, 'I find thy face apelike and thy form misshapen. Thy beard, moreover, is an offence against decency, resembling more closely the scabrous fur which doth decorate the hinder portion of a mongrel dog than a proper adornment for a human face. Is it possibly that thy mother, seized by some wild lechery, did dally at some time past with a randy goat?' - Mimbrate Knight Protector Mandorallen.

Lost in my disturbing mind...

I have a hate towards WoW, but I have played a little bit of it, and I was having fun. But I am thinking of maybe of getting WoW (free to play up to LVL 20!!!).

But yah, I think I am going to stick with SWToR when it comes out.

I played it for many, many years, doing all end game content.

I want those years back.

The latest expansion killed it for me, for good, thank god.

I played it only because my brother and step brother did, than they stopped playing and I thought, why am I trying to level up in a game where all you do is the same basic quest over...and over....and over.........and OVER again, originality is something its lacking.

I played the game and all of its expansions even upon release until CE. I played a free trial of the new expansion but only logged about five minutes before eventually uninstalling the game.

Its probably still the best pay to play MMO around but WOW days seem to be over for me as well.

I feel WAR is superior to WOW in every aspect. I've played both and got zero enjoyment out of WOW. I can't stand WOW's character designs and the game was just boring. WAR at least looks pretty. It's only drawback is the world seems so small and restricted. Once you clear a tier there is no reason to go back. So the further you get in the game the smaller the world effectively becomes. WAR's population is also too low, but that's not an inherent flaw within the game itself

If anybody IS interested in playing and wants to give it a shot, I'm looking for somebody to use recruit a friend on. I'm a veteran WoW player, having played since vanilla.

If you're unfamiliar, recruit a friend allows us to get triple experience from quests and kills when we play together, and some other perks as well.

Now your thinking! You were inspired by Obama yes?

I played for a couple months, but the quests got REALLY boring and the community as a whole really wore on me. So after a few months I said screw this. Funny thing is I personally think Blizzard lets hackers and gold farmers into their game on purpose. We were suddenly hacked one day, and lost NOTHING. But still changed everything and that was that. Then out of the blue hacked again, this time I knew something was fishy because we changed our password to a HUGE friggin password using letters numbers and everything else on a keyboard, no way you accidently get that one. So called Blizzard AGAIN they conned us into buying that stupid authenticator and the whole 9 yards, they swore of yea with this and the password you chose you wont have problems anymore. Its been a year and Im STILL getting emails saying my account password has been changed or that there was suspicious activity on my account.

Thats total bs if you ask me. I wonder how much money they made off those little pieces of junk? They say they sell them at cost, but you know thats a lie and a half.

I get e-mails about account being compromised or investigated etc. all the time, it's just scammers who find out the e-mail address you use for WoW and spam it with crap. All it takes is a quick look at the message source to tell you that it's just coming from 'sawoigtr.com' or whatever.

Some of the harder ones to spot manage to use an envelope sender, but even that can be identified in the message source.

As for gold sellers, yes, they let them stay in the game, but gold sellers benefit from the Hydra Effect. No matter how many heads you cut off, more will grow in their place, so it's better to let the current heads reign free whilst you go about targeting the body of the beast.

Taking out gold seller accounts one by one is at best a very temporary fix, because for every account banned, they've managed to set up or hack another one to take its place.

My friends dragged me back into the game. If it wasn't for them I wouldn't care about that game at all. Most of the people are elitest morons, but then I realise that I have a wife, so I think I'm doing better than the guys that play that game 24/7.

So I've ramped up the collection and painting of little plastic army men. Somehow this makes more sense.

I used to play a lot. The game has gotten worse though. Skill required to play has generally decreased with each patch and expansion. Its at the point where you hit 3-5 buttons for your "rotation." Waiting for something with more dynamic play.

Its not only that, its that blizzard actively stomps down difficult to play builds if they are "too hard" or provide an advantage.
vanilla arms warrior, frozen throne unholy-pres frost DK, ect. Were difficult enough to play to make it a challenge to top meters, not so much anymore.

I'm a recovering addict. Sometimes I get drawn back in by shiney new expansions, but usually I just level myself up to the new cap, get bored and then quit again.

just too boring, and raiding gives me nothing to look forward to since raiding is just annoying. You wait in line while the popular people in your guild get everything first, then you get the hand-me-down junk they don't want, just to replace it all with prettier pixels when you get to the next raid place, if you're lucky enough to not have your guild fall apart over loot drama first.

In the end, one big waste of time.

Played on and off and came back each expansion basically....Cataclysm was an epic failure for my part. I also echo the above comment with saving a few dollars off that to dump hundreds on 40k
