Spikey Bits is having a sale tonight at their store on eBay. I can tell you that the proprietor, Rob Baer, is a reputable seller. I've been buying stuff from him for years since he first started Battlewagon Bits. He also owns FTW Games in Richmond, VA.

Here's the essential information:

Want Bits for Cheap? Check our e-Bay store startind stonight at 10PM Eastern, for the start of our summer sizzler sale and get 20% off all bits. YES ALL BITS, YES 20% OFF.

Hello I am Rob Baer, the founder of Battlewagon Bits, and pioneer of the "bits off the sprue" industry. Recently I decided to throw my hat back into the bits ring, and have started with the selection of bits below. We sell Warhammer 40k Bits and other Tabletop Hobby Supplies!

Weird. I played around, re-posted, it seems to be working now. Thanks for the alert.

Thanks for the heads up although I found some pricing odd (note that I dont go bitz hunting too much so maybe I'm not used to certain prices)

For example, a combi melta for the space marine commander priced at $11

Thanks for the heads up, though I was sure that a "SALE" meant discounts...

Most of these prices are above the Ebay average

The prices are discounted 20% from what they normally are listed at which does qualify as a sale. Some of this looks pretty good to me. Example:

http://cgi.ebay.com/Space-Marine-Terminators-x5-AoBR-40k-/190560317232?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item2c5e47af30
AoBR Terminators
Original price US $19.99
Discounted price US $15.99

While technically correctly classified as a sale since they were $160 each initially, charging $128 each for 10 plastic GW painted drop pods sold as a lot isn't a deal in my book by any stretch. Power to him as a seller if someone pays that price but I personally be surprised if they went for half that amount.

Yeah, even with the discount the prices are above average.

Bit prices reflecting "the meta" always amuse me. lol at people piecing out the AOBR Tact marine ML. Man you use to trip over these things for cheap but LF come out and bam. Can't blame em for playing the market but still lol.

yeah but breaking the ML from the start set troops is pretty funny. Since now you're just buying bolter dudes for whatever since you don't even have a full squad anymore.

I'm pretty sure that almost no one is wanting to buy any number marine bolter guys.
That's why 9 of them cost less than 2 missile launcher guys.

Tactical squads are soooo 4th edition.

Good luck on some of those "sale" items. I think instead of looking at 20% off as a value, you should have looked at the going rate on eBay. Good thing listing fees are just a dime this month.

WHAT?!! Rob is selling that Ork army?

This guy is the owner of my LGS, and for anyone eyeballing it, that Ork army is one of the best designed and painted I've ever seen. Freaking amazing models.

yeah,
IMO that ork army is stupid.
All the vehicles are great, but why would a ork on foot have a guardsman's stats?
Just doesn't compute!
