Hi guys
Far be it from me to comment, but i think that games workshops pricing of the Vampire counts Blood Knights is astronomical. Sixty quid for five models indeed!. Anyway i was wondering if anyone had any thoughs on what best kits to use to convert some Blood Knights at a much lower price, this is a credit crunch after all

A friend of mine used a mix of Empire and Brettonian Knights decked out with spare bits from the rest of his VC army. They worked fairly well, but a great paint job could really pull it together.

I'm gonna use the High Elf dragon knights, just painted red and maybe with some added green stuff spikes. They are plastic and MUCH cheaper. Plus they have groovy dragon iconography. I dont think it would take much converting to get em looking good 'n vampirey.

one of my mates used the dragon princes but replaced the shilds with grave guard ones. looked pretty good
