Given Batman's top tier plot armour, perhaps a more appropriate question would be how he'd beat them all. But still - let's kill a lazy Friday afternoon.

Somewhere in the dark...

batman would get owned by pretty much anything from most 40k races becuase he has no powers and his weaponry would be ineffective against most things. his armour would also be pretty useless.

proper super power super heroes like superman or something would do well. spidernan would probably get owned but not as fast as batman. then you'd have others like galactus or whatever he's called who would beat most things in 40k barring maybe c'tan and chaos gods etc.

wow! must've thought about this before XD

Batman attacks an Imperial Guardsmen. He gets hit by a lasbolt. It tickles him so hard that he rolls aound on the floor.

But then....his belt falls off! He gets the gak beaten out of him.

With a power armor on... I think he could take on a SM Captain, but nothing more. Yarrick would beat the crap out of him. I do think he could beat a Carnifex, since it's a mindless beast and he's Batman.

Given enough time and prep he could probably defeat anyone. His skills come from knowledge more than abilities. Batman has beaten Superman a few times.

Actually would be cool to see Batman's genius vrs CREED!

I don't think there's anything in his belt that can deflect boltgun rounds. Or chain/power swords.
And in 40k people don't tie you up, put you in some convoluted slow-death machine and tell you all their plans. Except maybe Abaddon.

Have in mind that Batman is pretty much the ultimate ninja. Well, that depends on the author, but if he can take on Ra's al Ghu and hisl League of Assassins, I dout a simple Callidus Assassin can kill him.

Remember, Batman is Machiavelli with moulded, rubber nipples and a Hallowe'en mask. He'd take out Marneus Calgar by tricking Captain Atom into attacking the arch-smurf, then waiting for the mushroom cloud when the Gauntlets of Ultramar split him in two.

He would just spray everything with his Bat-Anti-Thing spray, or construct an elaborate plan to bring them all down which would then fall into the wrong hands and bring down the Imperium.

Also: Dakka dakka dakka dakka BAT-MAN.

You only THINK Batman was killed by a Callidus Assasin. This was to lull everyone into a false sense of security.

Everyone knows that Horus killed the Emperor. The greatest secret of the Imperium is that the Emperor was actually killed by Batman. That Chaos Cult that took in Horus and planted seeds of rebellion in his mind? Yup, that was Batman. One of the great strategems of antiquity is to use your foes against one another. Rogal Dorn being unable to stop the Emperor's death... common misconception is that Chaos scattered the Imperial teleport, but in actual fact... it was Batman's jammer technology. Sanguinus wasn't killed by Horus... he was killed by the Bat using a specialized and gene coded coagulating dart which caused Sanguinus to have a fatal stroke. In his death throes, the resulting psychic backlash inflicted the black rage onto his progeny. Batman then arranged for Horus and the Emperor to find his way to the spot. This seeming act of brutality crystalized the Emperor's resolve and nothing Horus could do or say could dissuade him, forcing him into an inevitable confrontation.

If Bats can sneak up on Superman, then he'll have no trouble being where the boltgun rounds aren't.

Power armour? All it does is give him something to use his numerous EMP/other anti-tech weapons on.

Psychic powers? He hangs out with enough telepaths to have cause to develop an aegis suit equivalent.

Callidus Assassin? Batman killed him (there are male ones) then infiltrated the Callidus temple by disguising himself as him.

Batman has traveled through time, defeated superman, and saved the universe multiple times. I think he could take Marbo on, against a Space marine one on one, yea. I think Captain might be pushing his limits. ... when I think about it, besides a primarch Batman stands a good chance again them all.

"War is not violence and killing, pure and simple; war is controlled violence, for a purpose. The purpose of war is to support your government's decisions by force. The purpose is never to kill the enemy just to be killing him but to make him do what you want him to do. Not killing... but controlled and purposeful violence."

My secret fortress at the base of the volcano!

The rule is that, given a few days to study his opponent, Batman can beat anything. ANYTHING.

Now, if he gets sniped by a Ratling that he doesn't know is there from 1 kilometer away, or has Kharn deep strike onto his head during breakfast, he's Bat-corpse.

But if the Batman knows you are there... if he knows who you are... he will wait. He will study. He will plan. He will build whatever the feth he needs to defeat you.

Then, he will win.

I don't care who you are. You will lose. It has already been decided.

The only people that could give the Bat a run for his money, would be Eldrad, Tzeentch, and CREEEEEEEEEEEEEED!

Desaad is about Vect's nearest match in DCU, and Batman completely owned him in Rock of Ages...

Batman has plans that not even Tzeentch can understand the intricacies of.

So, everyone.

Yep, he's totally screwed.

Unless he comes along some Guardsmen or something similar, as the tech in 40k way out does the tech on his belt.

That's the only advantage they have; since nothing else in 40k is better than Batman.

I mean, he has to have a few disadvantages, otherwise, where's the fun?

Batman beat Galactus once. The planet destroying thing from a previous incarnation of the universe.

Besides, Batman's thing is that as long as he has time to prepare for it, he can do it.

The Despoiler v Batman. Batman throws a batarang that turns out to contain a baneblade driven by Creed. While Abby is distracted, Batman tosses the inert body of Roboute Guilliman
at him, pinning the Despoiler to the ground. A ravenous horde of extramedial fanboys come to rescue their spiritual liege and stampede Abby to death.

I'm the MO**********G BATMAN!
