I'm not sure if anyone has seen this or if there are any other posts already covering this topic (searches came up empty)

Anyway, back to the topic. I'm sure most everyone has seen the new(ish) Forgeworld contemptor pattern dreadnought, but here's a picture of one anyway.



As i was trawling through the vast amount of data on Lexicanum, i came across this awesome picture:




sorta like a shiny version of FW's new kit.

Its called Sagittarus and apparently is a dreadnought of the Adeptus Custodes.


Does anyone know more about this beast, and has anyone ever tried to model it?

It looks to me like a shiny, gold, more Custode-y Contemptor Dread.

Based on the naming of the FW dread, I don't think they'll do one.

Contemptor is just the name of one of the original three weapons payload designs for the dread (Contemptor "Chuck", Deredeo "Eddie" and Furibundus "Fury").

Besides, apart from being possibly twin linked, there is no actual indicator of what the ranged weapon that yellow monstrosity has.
