soooo, hopefully there are some "no more hero" fans amongst dakka but if it should be too much of a problem

at any rate, I've always been a big fan of the game and Margaret Moonlight has always struck me as a perfect vindicare assassin so I really want to make a model of her :3

the only problem is I don’t think there are any gothic lolita models out the in GW range so any idea what parts I could use to make her? I'd like them to be GW parts but it doesn’t really matter as my FLGS isn’t too fussy about the odd non-GW model here and there

Cool idea. Perhaps Reaper minis could be something for you? They have quite a lot of female models (and I'm not just talking about Sophie but many others) - it's just a guess, but perhaps you might find something there. Otherwise, GW:s female vampire lord looks pretty gothic I think (the unnamed finecast vampire lord), but she isn't really "lolita"-style...

Anima tactics has at least one mini that might fit the bill, although she might be a tad overdressed for your typical gothic-lolita.

the anima girl wins from the waist up ^^ hair and face are perfect, as is the dress and the gun, oh slaanesh the gun I'll be sure to....err....replicate it any idea how big she is?

I have that vampire and she might work for the arms but I cant see myself just buying another for the arms :/ that being said she would be nicer to cut up than the anima one due to the fail cast....

the dress is a bit too long but the top is more along the right lines....shame about the rest of the model :3

If you're looking at adding the huge scythe blades on to the gun, I know Anima also has a bazillion characters with gigantic scythes, and a lot of them are gussied up pretty nice too.

Plasticard is always a good option for that too though, haha.

I've been looking a bit around the Reaper and Anima sites but the skirts tend to be either full-length or buttcheek-exposing-short. I'm not sure how to feel about that, other than disappointed that I'm not finding what I'm looking for.

I think I might just use plasticard seeing as I've made enough for my death guard so I can do it another two times

I suppose the short ones are best as I can add to them with GS but still...that means more work :/

I actually own the model, but she's yet to be built; anima I think are roughly 30mm if not 28mm so at worst he's a tad taller than the rest of your army.

back on topic, I'm starting to think that it wouldn’t be too hard to GS the lower part dress if I did it in layers and I'm sure that I can sculpt the legs (I could be wrong though -_-). also the boots can be taken from the delf corsairs with a bit of modification (did the same thing with my IG commissar with moderate success )

quick question, if I sat her on top of a largish signpost like in the game, will people be upset as, being a vindi, she'll get to see most of the board as far as TLOS is concerned

You could make it so that she could fit on the billboard and a standard base.

That sounds pretty feasible.

For a signpost, if you're worried about TLOS arguments then maybe you could do something like put her on a wrecked billboard or something that's partially buried, (along the lines of this, but more scaffolding if that makes any sense. And if you're already planning on doing some sculpting anyway, maybe model her in a sitting or crouching position so she's not sticking up any higher than she would when standing.
