One day I hope to have enough dice to be able to sit naked in a bathtub of them and have someone pour a 5 gallon bucket of them over me while basking in the ambiance.

Any gamer worth his salt would never venture into a game session with just one set of dice. I currently have about 16 full sets of dice, about 4 dozen random ones, and a couple of the freak dice (d100, d30). I attend a games convention every year in Roanoke, I always buy at least one set of dice from my favorite vendor. I also have about 5 sets of dice in my Warhammer case.

I guess my quirk that i can't imagine is uncommon is that i NEED to have my dice match my army to a T. So inevitably i have a bunch of sets for all my armies.

Actually, because this is a dice thread. So last week I was gaming, and my opponent had the GW D6 box (small dice 27 to a box) and one of the die was the Hit/Miss dice. Is there any way to get that small sized hit/miss die by itself. I need like 2, but I don't need a whole box.

I currently have the GW dice box in Green, cream, Black and red, and Chessex dice in Clear with white spots which is quite fun when your playing on a Snow board. I did have Grey Chessex dice but some petty A-hole nicked them along with my mini fantasy rulebook which is rather annoying as they were my favourite dice. :(

Dice Thread?

Dice Question!

I'm looking for the biggest d10 I can get my hands on... which would most likely be made of foam or something.. Anyone know where I can purchase a huge d10?

It's not just you. I get every army I collect a matching set of dice just for that army.

Dice are like different shades of brown paint, you can never have too many.

Dice require you to pick and choose favourites and unlucky dice from a group of cubes that are essentially identical.

It is their evil nature to make you be a bit obsessive about a really minor aspect of the game.

People that get too obsessive about dice develop a condition called Mathhammereemia. You can see these individials just out of sight in games stores; hiding in shadows, only noticable by the smell of Cheetos and BO.

I hate dice! [Execpt my lucky DAKKA dice]

Yet to find 'my own' set of dice as MDS already has so many it seems a bit silly to get more.

I would like some of my own really though... his dice seem to hate me!

Wife is keen on dice, we went to a wargames show last year and this once guy had a huge bin full of them and you could fill one of those big disposable drinks cups with dice for about £3. She dived straight in.

A lot were strange ones, like 12 sided dice that had three 5s and things like that. We got a rune die, but missed out on the I-Ching die.

Anyway, that was at the Devizes show 2010, he wasn't there this year and we'd gone with scoops ready.

They have the "scoop o dice" at Chessex booth at GenCon each year. The price has been going up each time, too. I did it back in 2002 and have plenty of random dice now.

I have also purchased theme dice for my Black Templars, matched sets for each new D&D character I've played with, and so on.

Crown Royal bags are perfect for dice bags, too. But you should only put one army or D&D character's dice in a given bag. To do otherwise is to taunt the dice gods. Only a fool does that.

Also, when playing D&D, never touch another man's dice. If a die lands in your area, use a pencil or book to push it back to the other person. Never just grab it.

I fully believe that every player of any game should be forced to read this dice article and sign a form stating that they will follow the rules found within.

It's just that important.

I get extremely excited about dice, being an ex-magic player, a roleplayer and a 40k player.

my Best dice :

a VtM special edition D10
2 normal sized foam novelty D6s (gonna get more, i love the silly little things)
a Die-cast iron D6
a D6 with Ks instead of dots or numbers (mainly a juvenile comedy thing, seeing as 3 is KKK)
two block-sets of dice from MTG's fatpacks
and a set of roleplaying dice small enough to be used as basing supplies

My dice:

Chessex Ninja
Chessex Barracuda
Chessex Hurricane
Chessex Arctic Camo

I have 36 dice of each type. As you can see, I love Chessex.
