Any suggestions for finding a decent shotgun that doesn't have arms over it or wouldn't require too much modding to put on another unit?

EDIT: Also looking for decent Death Cult Assassins; at the moment I am just using Repentia. I was wondering if using the Reaper Battle Nuns painted in the same theme as my SoB army would be a bit too tacky?

I am using the Gideon Lor model with a forge world imperial guard elite models with shotgun. The Sergant on the squad in the only model that is holding the shotgun with one hand. That at least works for me with my count as model.

I made one with half of a laspistol, the barrels of two heavy stubbers, and a green-stuffed pump action. I just have it hanging on my guy's back.

We've been given a holstered shotty from a biker, but gosh darn that heresy one is nice! Can't turn my nose up at 40p!

Got a picture of your conversion JB? I've seen people do lasrifle + heavy flamer to make a shotgun, be interested to see yours.

Sadly I only have sisters as well as some out of production arbites, so not much options for sourcing bits from my own stuff

Cut off everything after the magazine on any gun (lasgun or bolter if you have em) and replace the area with two plasticard tubes one on top of the other. Add a bit of banding between the two and the optional pumb action handle. =P

As for DCA, the reaper nuns could certainly work. I've also seen people suggest using Menoth Daughters of the Flame from Warmachine, although they may be a bit too armored for your tastes

Actually I kind of prefer the menoth: fits in a bit more to my eyes.

I'm worried that the battle nuns are desperately tacky too
