Yes your weathering and painting is top notch. I wish I knew how to capture realism when I paint as well as you do! The only potential flaw that I see is the lenses of the tank leave more to be desired. With your realistic paint style and my ability to do great lens work, nobody could stop us  --excellent job!

Weathering is quite simple, I just looked at reference material of rusted metals on google and got a set of the forge world weathering powders. The chipped metal is just chardon granite with some spots boltgun metal and then mithril or chainmail.

Thanks for the encouragement. I've had the army for quite some time I've been putting off getting it finished until I had a painting plan new brushes etc. I figured feedback from the community would get me going. I'll continue to post images as I go.
Also I love the fluff behind the steel legion and I think their colours really make the death korps models pop.

SL are based off of WW2 german uniforms (I think fallschirmjager?). Their goggles are also detachable
DK are based off of WW1 western front soldiers such as the french and germans

Btw, how did you do the rust effects? Is it just pure devlan mud or a mix of some paints?
