Subject: Army goals.

Guard Heavy Weapon Crewman

Ok, so I started a thing Call army goals for my imperial guard 
I started them to limit the amount of models I buy so don't buy everything and try to kind of earn it and deserve it.
Some examples of this is winning 10 games before I buy commissar Yarric and painting 5 units and I buy a squad of 10 steel legion ( I hate painting but really want them). So what I'm asking is do you have any goals I could use for imp gaurd? Please wright below

Yeah, that's my spending habits in a nutshell. Too damn tempting to pick up another box so I can get my army up and running.

Painting is always a great goal.
As is winning a set number of games (Or even draw)
As is drybrushing your vehicles exhaust ports/guns etc. (I always paint vehicles and once they are painted I tend to use them in lists without drybrushing the guns/vents etc.

I always buy whole armies. Means you have to have the whole package worked out and eliminates impulse purchases.

I like scratch building. I'm in the process of a GS sister's army and making rhinos out of tagboard.
Spending is always an issue, but going the cheap route tends to be a more tedious route and therefore a two-fold saving method. Invest in casting your own sprues and you may be suprised how much you save... or how much more your spending on resin instead of plastic...
Each army is different, but with a little bit of research you can probably find templates for manticores and chimeras and the like.
