Having hated constructing the one and having stopped buying GW products i was wondering if anyone knew of decent models to use as Valkyrie counts as?
Ive been searching but haven't had any luck.

Since the Valkyrie seems to be patterned, at least in terms of what it's supposed to do on the tabletop, on something like the Russian/Soviet Hind helicopter, it might be worth looking in that general direction. 'Course, a 1/48th scale Hind would be freaking massive on the tabletop!

If you could find an appropriately sized model of that osprey the USMC is using and throw some guns on it, that could work well.

Ch 53, Hind, Havok, Tiger, lynx, in 1/35 or 1/48. A smaller scale c 130. With some serious work an A10 would work but it's more of a storm raven.

Land raider upgrade kit. That, or buy the vendetta conversion from FW.
For real guns, I can't really think of one that wouldn't serve better as an autocannon.

What about the RDA Gunship from Avatar? I'm not sure how big the model is, but apparently it is to scale for a GI Joe to fit in the cockpit so it must be decently sized.
