One thing I love about 40k is the weapons (I love weapons) but one thing that bothers me is weapons that aren't in 40k but should be for example, kill sats (satellites) that are used by normal troops, its an easy form of tech and it really should be in 40k.
here is the question for you guys, which weapons do you think are missing from 40k -

The Orbital Septic Bomb. One drop and everyone evacuates the battlefield. Hopefully Mr. Ward takes a look at this and makes a "Custodes" chapter and puts this weapon in! Finish it off with the "simply green" laser and the DSHSP bubble-bomb.
PS-add vowels if that last one confuses you.

Tactical nukes. If Starship Troopers taught us anything it is tha ASM should have RPG style nukes in a Y rack on thier back.

This is one of the more realistc ways GW went - nuclear weapons aren't really that good. If you want a big bang, they have other weapons that can do it (eg Deathstrike missiles) without irradiating a large part of ground you may want to use after the planet is won.
That said, the Hellhammer uses unstable sub-atomic warheads in its main cannon. Nothing clears the troops out of a building better. The building too.

Would this nuke need say.... 25 kills before it can fire?
Jks and cod hate aside, i think there are plenty of guns in the 40k universe, enough for pretty much every role, only thing i would like to see is a hot shot shotgun for storm troopers or the like to take. in short a laser shotgun is needed IMO

Properly differentiated rules for power swords, axes and mauls?
Is that too much to ask when the Grey Knights get special rules for differently-sized swords?

Spartan laser.
Plasma rifles.
Just shizzle that you can shoot on the move. I mean seriously, I can EASILY rapid fire my AR then charge in with my Hammer in halo so why can't space marines do it?
Also, needler rifle.

On that note I think chainswords could use some modifications. +1 S for CC purposes maybe.

Those too. Off the top of my head, something like a flat +1 I for a _____sword and +1 S for a _____axe on top of the existing power weapon rules would seem about appropriate and not too unbalancing.

I like it, and it would give you a reason to take a frost blade vs a frost axe for example. As well there's a precedent for this from previous editions of the game, as well as DH/ RT/ DW.

Deathstrike Missiles are more powerful than any nuclear weapon ever created.
And an explosion in the atmosphere with the sufficient heat and explosive force will cause a mushroom cloud, nuclear or not.
So Deathstrike Missiles are more practical than nuclear weaponry, as well as having the bang.

Tabletop game balance. You may notice that in the new Space Marine video game, far more comparable to Halo, you can do this.

I always thought that Powersword should get +1 on armour penetration and CHainsweapons for example reroll 1s on to wound.
But on the matter of nukes: They would change everything, because you could just nuke all that Tyranid and orc masses. The whole war for Vraks would have been solved by some nukes.
Its better 40k ignores nukes.
