My friend Seth runs the Alamo GW in California, and is a rad guy. He goes out of his way to help people become better painters and players. He teaches airbrushing, modeling skills and is a killer fantasy player, too (we are teaching him to become a top level 40K gamer, as well!).

No, a legit, gravity fed, Japenese airbrush, with compressor, regulator and water trap. Seth is the man with that thing, he will help new players get their army painted so we don't have a millions grey and plastic hordes running around!

I tell yah. Internet curmudgeonry is one thing. Tricking your fellow Dakkites into getting you a cake in the shape of Kirby's Golden Throne is another.

I find that some of the best support you can give that man is to go in to the shop on his closing days and talk to him like a normal human being. No bragging, ranting, complaining or rules questions.

Yeah, no joke. Some of the crazy kids that get dropped off at the store all day by their parents must be so hard to deal with, but Seth is super patient with them. I go in there sometimes to just paint and bs with him like a normal person, like you said, PaintedPotato, and I am sure it helps.

I'm usually down there once a week or so, and have already "liked" the page, but I just wanted to throw in my vote for Seth being great. He's a real help to my hobby and he is an important part of a great gaming community in our bay area.

Using Facebook 'likes' as a source of employee performance is EPIC FAIL on a scale I have never seen before.

If people get paid for ranting on blogs, I have no problems with this 'like' rewards system.

Besides, I am pretty sure it has more to do with his bitter rivalry with a certain LA bunker. Not sure it has anything to do with his higher ups. Like they are pulling out their red sticks to see who has a further assault range.
