Are there overweight elves in warhammer fantasy?

I assume there are but I think weight issues with elves would be less common as my personal theory is the elven body burns fat more quickly and often than the human version.

We're talking about a race who spends decades looking at a piece of art. And it is EVERY elves duty to be trained for the militia and would thus be required to be in fit condition.

Yeah, but elves are individuals with their own thoughts and opinions, and unless there's a law prohibiting elves from being fat I don't see why they can't be.

I thought that one of the defining flaws of the elven race was they were extremely proud (and AFAIK) quite vain.

So I imagine they wouldn't allow themselves to get fat, as a matter of pride and vanity. I mean it's hard to remain aloof and feel superior to the lesser races when you're tucking your beer-gut into a girdle.

Also, from an artistic point of few, I don't think that the image of the scantily-clad wood-elf ranger, bow poised, skin glistening in the scattered sunlight filtering through the green leaves of the forest as she stalked her hapless prey would be quite as evocative if she had cankles and a muffin-top...

Genetics. And/or magic. They were created by the Old Ones. Who knows what that entails in terms of physique?

But maybe they use corsets and shove all their body fat into those pointy hats.

It's likely that a longer lifespan makes them less prone to gluttony (or any othe excess) as they have plenty of time to enjoy everything in life, including food.
DE OTOH are unlikely to survive long if they have such exterior signs of weakness.

I would think that having each one trained in the art of war means they are all healthy, but Im sure there are like one or two princes in the kingdom that indulge in the sweets a bit too much. Maybe spending years on his ass and looking at art caught up with him, haha!

I'd love to see an obese elf standing next to the equally obese Grom the Fat (name says it all) and a couple of really fat Ogres comparing bellies. Is there a Golden Demon winner around here willing to make such a diorama? Please?
