And that's someone who studies reptiles, before anyone reads too much into that. Yes, them and the other word you immediately thought of do share the same etymological roots, but context is important and I'm making my comment related to the totally obviously Lizardmen Blood Bowl team that has to be coming out soon.
let the guessing commence!

Actually a doctor would be fine, too. Ichthyosis is freaky enough that most remember it from med school presentations At least I'll never forget it.
I'd really like a BB Lizzardmen team, I've wanted one more than Chaos or Nurgle or Elf Union. A whole box as awesome as the Carnosaur hero might be too much to hope for, but some almost as buff/tall ones with the same sculpting quality would work really nice with the HellDorade T-Rex guy I bought years ago. I also bought a box of Saurus Warriors and then swiftly decided that they're way derpy to salvage even if you sculpt over anything but feet, hands and heads.
Looking for a Skaven Doomwheel banner to repair my Nurgle knights.

Judging by the brush strokes, it's small. Possibly a hip power supply for.... las weapons? Does the Tempestus Scions use a backpack for their hotshot lasguns?

Guard use winged skull so I think it's marine related.
Guard flamer backpacks have skull and crossbones, so not exclusively a Marine marking.

Yes. But the fitting isn't the same as the aforementioned photo...although that doesn't look too far off from a piece of art that keeps showing up of Cadians in front of a Baneblade with lasguns that have a backpack fitting.

I'll add too new Marines don't carry power supply inside bags ( maybe some scouts but doubtful), so i'll put my money in something like guardsmen either loyalist,heretic or genecult.
Also chance for some BSF model or Rogue trader oriented.
