Hey Dakka, i was surfing GW and found the fantasy Khorne lord and said: That looks SiCk and went and picked one up. i got home and sat down at my 40K station and started making him. I gave him an interesting staff and a scenic base and it turned out PRETTY nice.

Sadly i was never saying to myself it looked awesome all because a tiny little CUrvE:

But otherwise it turned out really nice:

It looks pretty damn cool if you ask me.

The weapon just doesn't look right.

Might look better when painted though.

It looks like there's something wrong with his hand. At a guess some flash on the fingers that makes it look like his hand is further down, and so the staff looks like it's protruding from his wrist.

I really like the axe concept, but I dont think greenstuff is the right material to make it work.

I love the staff concept. I myself am not the best with greenstuff so I usually try and find other bits that can be cut to fit in the place I need altered. I think my concern with it is that it doesn't look balanced. With as heavy as the chainsword side would be, he would be holding it much closer to the hilt. Usually for weapons that large I try and model them being held in both hands.

Can't wait to see what he looks like painted. I think you'll be happy with him. There's always something we can improve. My own stuff is far from being professional looking.

Please comment on my Inquisitor and his rules!
