There's a scenario that reqires an army to occupy a standard size building. What would be the best choice for a Skaven army?

Without ranks, you won't be getting the leadership bonus. I'd start with slaves so you don't panic any nearby units.
Then once you get knocked out, use rat ogres to retake it.

Try and push past the building, and prevent enemies from making the charge into the building; or just use magic to destroy the building and win the old fashion way.

For the Skaven to take a unit that can be deployed in the watchtower in that scenario is to take a unit that is completely useless 5/6 of the time. I never bother with one myself.

Crack's Call and/or the Screaming Bell are your best bets to deal with the tower, just wreck it and then apply standard Skaven tactics.

And that's what I love about skaven their total disregard for the social norms.

Skaven scout "They are hiding in that big building over there that has the flag flying on it."

I don't know, damien. "Riches" and "wait til nightfall," might be mutually exclusive though. If he waits Someone else might get the riches first, probably one of his scheming underlings

They get in and shoot you 30 times.
You charge they shoot you again.
You fight them they brutalize you and kick you out.
They shoot.
You charge they shoot again.

Queeks Storm Vermin are always a good choice since they are a lot nastier then the average Storm Vermin out therre.

And to cowpow16, do you really mean 120x Repeater Crossbows or just 20x? But since I'm also a fellow DE I agree, crossbows are a very versitile unit, especially with characters.

Its even better when you give them a few fighty characters and then give them a folding fortress.
