Seems like a fun army that could stand a chance of winning, would probably get destroyed by any CC heavy army but there is only one of those in my gaming group. Any thoughts?

Is my maths right and thats 54 horrors with 162 shots of warpfire????
(not that that will ever happen, since deep strike and there is very little chance of ALL of them surviving and being on the table all at once.)

Granted you have to stay within range to get his ability, but i have played against him in a BM army and quite frankly if used right, hes a jerk. just sayn.

Also why give him a hand-to-hand gift when you have set him up as a shooting dude? Or am i missing something?

Havnt played with Blue Scribes or Herald of tzeentch yet, but you can get 2 HQ for 1. And cheaper points.

As for strat to play with that army..
Your probably going to find they will die quickly. Whilst you dont really need cover with them since they have half decent saves. You can DS them into the open but will get a ton of fire and loose alot. Invun saves are good and all, but if banshees or the like get into them, your dead. Invun saves or not.

I have found the pink horrors tend to be the first thing to die in my games. Although i do play risky with them. Maybe add some versatility to your army? Your playing 1500Points, they dont have to be used all on one type of unit. Shooting will only get you so far. Look at the tau...

I'm going to disagree with almost everything TheExiled has to say.

First off, Fateweaver is a terrible choice for this list. But I wouldn't go LoC either. I suggest chariot tzeralds. 4 of them for less than the price of LoC's.

I would also suggest dropping some of the horrors in favor of MoT + Gaze + Bolt Princes.. the list needs a little durability.

Overall though, I love the massed horrors. Great theme, and probably fairly competetive. Your volume of fire is frightening. Even to a deathwing player.

Charioted tzeentch heralds are a good choice.

I have not played with fateweaver OR Lord of change so i really have no idea about them or how to use them effecivly. Sorry to get it wrong cottonjaw I can only go by what i have been told by other daemon players i have met.

I played against fateweaver in a BM tourney with feinds and letters. Was a quick game.

I agree about the daemon prince. I love mine.

I was merly offering some different choices for his tzeentch built army list. Sorry if my suggestions wernt correct cottonjaw.
