A slight disrupted communication was received by the planet of Cyilus 4 astro paths . It came over as a distorted distress signal from an adjacent system . That something was coming there way . What could it be . The transmission ended before any more information could be deceifered . What could be possiblely happening ? The Planet of Cyilus 4 hasn't had conflict in over 2000 years , a peaceful tucked away corner of the universe . The local imperial government panicked what was about to happen to there peace mining planet . Soon all intersteller communication went dark . People began to flee the planet . But nothing happened . Could this be just a warp storm . Was there some explainable reason why communication to the rest of the systems went dark ? months went by , till that dark evening when the Ork fleet arrived out of warp . And the Green tide assended on the planets surface by passing the limited planetary defense with ease . The Evil Warboss Grak Throt Bita "Crusha of Worlds , Maruder of systems , Green Deff to entire systems ! " orkestrated the invasin laning his surface crafts and landing rocks on the out skirts of the Northern continents capitall city . Governor Chrios wacthed and horror as this massive army of bellowing monsters , mechanical walking machines and makesift vehicles amassed moving on to his city to destroy it . His whole life him or his world had never experience xenos in any way . This was a nightmare come to reality ! One advisor telled to him the tale of the Adeptus Astrate ! Maybee the anceint tower in the north of the city could be powered up and a destress signal could be sent ! But there hasn't been an adeptus astrate on this soil in thousands of years ! The governer no matter what to evacute from the main gate and get to the nearby landing pad to cacth a transport . just maybee the anceint coms tower could work and send a distress signal ? But this anceint machine , an artifect hasn't been used in age . who know if it will work ? If it does maybee we can summon more imperial guard to our rescue or maybee even ..the angels of death . Down bellow in the trenchs before the cities gates the local imperial guard defenses prepared for the ork attack !! This is how it went down !

The orks bellowing there war crieds advanced as fast as they could while grecthins removed the mine feilds and improvised expolsive devices laid by the imperial guard . Imperial tanks poured out of the cities gates to fire on the green mence as they came . The imperial guard manned there trenchs with stout courage under the shadow of giant ork machines . because they new the only way for the city and there familes to safely evacuate . would be for them to hold the xeno scum here !

the governor and staff quickly rushed down the tower stairs of the front gate a centaur was waiting to take him back to the near by landing pad to get him to the anceint coms tower .on the ground two bane blade super heavies fired madly in to the orks ranks . three stompa walked across fireing there weapons every where . both sides taking a beating !the orks began to push up the left flank battle wagons pushing up and over trenchs guards men fighting and abbandonig there trenchs at the last moment possiable . some waiting for the giant wagons to pass over them to attach krack grenades to there under carriages ! some worked some were crused under the wheels and tracks of the ork vehicles ! blood ran through the trenchs it was a battle of epic proportions !.... ill continue the story in a bit

Looks great. The wall came out perfect. So the works got a foothold. When is the next game? This really makes me wanted to work on Orks..

Seeing this makes me want to play apocalypse. I'd love to try fielding 3 'ravens, 5 vindi's and a few land raiders in one game

sorry about the crappy pics . i took the wrong camera . but any way .... the story continues ...... fighting bravely the imperial guard fought the green skin invaders the whole way . making them pay for every inch thecame . all heavy weapons and tanks concentrated there fire power crippling and destroying a big mek stompa . making it go apocloypitic ! and exploing taking tons of infantry with . the second goth stompa had its drives blown out immobilizing it just at the edge of trench line . another victory . preventing that mechanized monster from reaching the wall . but the last and final stompa waded throgh the imperial lines tossing tanks aside throwing its self against the imperial cities wall . every imperial force fired upon it . tearing armor away trying to prevent it from breaching the wall . but the mek stompa clawed away finaly colasping a section off the wall . but in vain the imperial forces were able to hold off the ork horde . so not one vile green skin was permited to enter the city a epic victory ., for the imperial guard . sadly though the invasion is far from over . Grak Trot Bita evil plans have been set and many more waves of blood thirst greens are assending on the planet . The govenor successfully reached the landing pad and his arvis transport . on route to the comms tower north in the city .hope fully he can send a more potent distress signal with this aceint relay of the machine gods . while flying on his way flying over the citie . he could see the real reality of the war rageing around . This ork invasion was well under way . even though they had massive sucess at the gate other parts of the city were not as lucky . almost upon landing at the comms tower . a ork fighta bomb streaked bye fireing its weapons in to the govenors ship . " sir i have starboard engine damage ! i'm going to have to put her down in aleevi sector ! hold on , brace for a crash landing my lord !!!!!.............................to be continued !

Were did this battle take place, that wall seems very familiar to me and I recognise several people in the back ground. The Apoc pics look great and I am sure that the Imperials crapped there pants as the gorgant tore through the wall. Can't wait for more battle reports here.

just payed the next mission in our narraitive campaign . the imperial govenor who was evacuated in the first mission to go send help at a interseller coms tower got shot down in his arvis lander deep in the city . now it was up to a 3000 points of airdroble elysians . the whole army had to be airdropable or in valks and vendettas . the orks converging on the crash site were 3000 points of only foot orks or walkers . inatntly we had a bloody game ! very awesome time . enjoy the pics

Sooooo much blur! From what I can see though it looked like an awesome game on an awesome table with awesome looking armies. Wish the pictures were easier to look at.

in this mission the imperial guard had to drop in and search the nearby buildings to locate the govoner by rolling a 6 on a d6 . this is how it went down the hordes of ork converged on the crash site . valkyries vendettas and sky talons screamed in dropping in eyliasians , imperial buggies and storm troopers . the battle was quick and bloody . finally after heavy losses the govenor was located unwounded in abannoned bulding quickly trying to evacute the imperial politician . Grak throt bita high lord warboss quickly moved to intercept the imperial guard and there " package " . in an epic battle guardsmen were killed and the warboss entourage was wittled down and then the entire imperial air force opened fire on the warboss . grak suffered the entire fuselade of gun fire and rockects and laser fire to finally to be put down by a squad of guardsmen rushing the govenor aboard a ramp of a landed valk . the assault carrier quickly lifted off and took off mission sucess at a high price . Grak layed in the mound of dead green skins and humans in his own blood ozzeing out . from out of the rubble a ork pain boy crept out followed by several ork nobs in mega armor . he barked some orders and the nobs quickly picked up the war boss limp body . the pain boy put his head to the massive warboss chest and listened . it was queit and low . but he could hear a low rumble graks heart still had a stight beat . the pain boy smilled with a tooth grin and quickly roared some orders to get the great warboss to his lab . then the horde of nobs carried off there lord and master . the green menace was far from over . the imperial forces in flight far above the city prepared for several ork fighters converging on them as they continued to get to the ancient comms spire .....stay tuned

So whats the next battle?

next game we plan to be an all air to air combatgame with only fliers . its going to be all about protecting the govenor to his destination ! so fighta bombers swoopinging in on valks and thunder bolts dogfighting . we are giving are selfs two weeks to prepare for this game . a lot of painting and modelling on the way . stay tuned ....

its been a while but heres another game in our narative campagin . last time the elite elysian drop troops were flown in to rescue the down governor from his crashed transport . orks quickly swarmed the crash site , but the elite elysians were able to escape rescuing him . before he fell in to xenos hands . the imperial guard valkyrie quickly with some escort fighters flew north to another hive city of Helnore . there the governor could reorginize his last armieds of pdf and begin to fight back . hopefully the distress signal projected by his psychers would be received by a close by imperial force . hopefully help would come , to this planet under seige . open landing at the hive cities space port . the view of thousands of ork bikes and buggies and other strange vehicles could be seen speeding towards the landing zone . preparing to land the pilot yelled " its going to be rough landing , hold on " anti air began shoot up at there drop ships , from make shift ork guns on the ground . then hordes of ork fighter jets could be seen flying out of the skies . all shooting and dive bombing the hive . expolsions and rockets streaked the skies . in the distance large stompas and gargants could be seen moving slowly towards the city . doom was upon them now . then from out of the sky . little fire balls could be seen dropping from the higher altitudes . these werent ork fightas or imperial guard drop troops. these were space marines . the emperor has saved us . the space marine drop pods began to strike the ground below . adeptus astrates here!! the govenor smiled . then from over head a thunder hawk zoomed by , quicky dispacthing a ork jet . the thunder hawk gunship markings were those of the space wolves , by god ! " my lord were about to land!" yelled the crew . door gunners on the valkyrie blazing away on there heavy bolters . firing away at orks on the ground . the drop ship touched down and the battle began . we played a 3000 point small apoc game . 3000 points of orks , mostly in vehicles and 1500 of elysian drop troops and 1500 of space wolves . the table had three objectives the landing pad where the governor just had landed , the space marine statue at the cities entrance and a small patrol base on the edge of the city . who ever had the most objectives within a set time frame one . the orks contrentated on the statue and the out post objectives .very bloody two squads of war bikes brought a lot of fire to bare on two long fang squads . two large units of foot slogers attacked the bases . its defenders fighting as hard as they could . but soon green skins were over the wall in combat . space wolves rushed to clear the orks out . but the numbers were numerous . trucks and battle wagons dumped there orks and nobs to clean up . finally the last squad of marines fought a tactical withdrawl . the base now belonged to the green skins ! mean while at the statue in the middle of the table. orks quickly made it there , but were constanly attacked by elysian drop troops droping in . the LZ was hot but the elite troopers it there drop sites . along side them buggies parachuted into help in the support by elements . constanly firing sowing death and chaos into the ork ranks .a dakka jet screamed in straffing some guard units , but that didnt stop the imperial forces from fighting on . the landing pad was a differnt story . not one ork even tried to get that far . imperial heavy weapons teams and vets dug in waiting for a fight that never came . an guard officer there thought to him self , why didnt the orks attack there? was there a plan or some secret attack on the way...i wonder . the dust settled for an imperial victory the out post being held by the green skins and the landing pad and sacred statue being held by the wolves and elysians . great game enjoy the pics

A month into the defense of the planet . another space marine chapter came out of the warp . the crimson fists battle barges entered the system . quickly there ships began to engage the ork fleet around the planet. several cruisers quickly punched a hole past the orks ships. the chapter master then quickly gave the orders to begin drops to the planets surface . drop zone were quickly figured out on the southern island of solu . there hive city alfano prime was to be about to be seiged by a large ork army amassing in the area . the local pdf low on supplies and ammo abandoned the defensive trenches that lined the city as well as the cities walls . leaving the civilians to fend for them selves . by the grace of the emperor a space wolf thunder hawk and some transports were flying bye . the thunder hawks pilots saw that the city was about to be attacked , and began to get clearance to intervene . Captain Brandoff over the vox gave the order to land into the city to defend it at all cost . there forces were small but they would protect the city at all cost . the ork horde began to swarm towards the city . stompas marching to attack the walls gate. all of a sudden the crimson fist began to drop from the skys ! ..to be continued ....
