I just posted this in the WHFB forum, but I just wanted to double check with the people in this forum in case one of you knows of something they don't.

I'm looking for a rune reference for decorating my Daemon army, but I can't seem to find any kind of list of runes besides the basic symbols of the Daemonic Gods.
The only other reference I found was in the main rulebook (around page 153) where there is a picture of a Bloodletter with runes on his blade.
I could just copy those runes, but I prefer to know what I'm putting on my models, because it gives them just that much more character.

Does anyone know of a dictionary or list of Daemonic runes anywhere?

Don't know any Daemonic runes, but you could use the Slavic runes, or perhaps the Elven runes from Lord of the rings. Actually they might be the same now that I think about it...

Edmondblack: There's something about some str10, AP2 blast weaponry which says "i love you" in that very special way.

As Chaos people in WHFB are Norse, you may us the Scandinavian runes. You may also use Gothic or Slavic as they are similar.

The Lost and the Damned contains a guide to the dark tongue of Chaos, including alphabetic and pictogrammic runes, as well as guidelines on the names of daemons.

So far as I know, that's the only published material on the subject, unless they were reprinted in one of the Warhammer Chaos supplements.
