Subject: S.M.G. 100,000 Point Apocalypse Game at The 19th Legion
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- <------ put tables side by side to allow more units to shoot/fight and possible assault. With alot of depth to a table, alot of units never make it to the other side to assault and it's just 1 huge gun line. Deepstrikes kind of all become suicide missions as there's usually no where to deep strike into without mishapping onto someone's head.
With lengthwise placement, you can put people across from say one other guy on the other side and usually offers up a bit more room for assault and with a few casualties, you open up more flanks and can have more tactical deepstrikes/turboboosts. Infantry in the back can actually make it into combat / have an effect on the game other than just blocking places to deep strikes
