EDIT Nov 15 2011: I am no longer working on these models. I'm switching back to Khador and am selling these models.

I'm participating in the Privateer Press Journeyman Slow Grow League. At first I wasn't going to buy anything new. I was going to utilize what I already owned. But I thought to get into the spirit of the 'slow grow' league, I ought to expand my forces.

Right now I'm working on Temple Flame Guard. I'll be running a minimum of 6 with the officer and standard bearer. At the moment I only of the basic TFG; the officer and standard bearer (as well as other models) have been ordered.

I've assembled the TFG and am currently in the process of getting them primed. They should be ready for some paint tomorrow.

I painted the Temple Flame Guard this evening.

I started with the flesh, using P3 Khardic Flesh. Then I painted the 'white' cloth areas with P3 Menoth White Base. Next I painted the other cloth parts with P3 Sanguine Base. For the metallics I used VMC Brass and VMC Natural Steel. On the jewels I put on some P3 Skorne Red. The symbols on the shield I went over with some GW Chaos Black. I then based the models with GW Modeling Sand.

Watching with interest. I have a Menoth starter set assembled and primed on my desk awaiting attention so I need some inspiration (and motivation!)

I ended up not going to the last couple nights of the slow grow league due to work schedule conflicts. But here is some of my progress on the models I meant for the league.

I am no longer working on these models. I am putting them up for sale so I can make some money for Khador.
