That's a pretty small Grey Knight next to the assault mahreen

Pretty good job on the assault mahreen, I really like the jump pack and the helmet.

I think the modelling on this is superb. I could never achieve the detail you've managed. My only very minor quibble is that his pose makes it look like he's the karate kid trying to balance on one leg but not quite getting it, and is about to fall over. I think it's the angle of the knee and foot being nearly 90 degrees that's doing that for me. If you were to lower the knee a fraction and bring the calf up tighter against the bottom of the thigh, it would look like a more determined rather than unstable pose.

*edit* and part of me wants the shield to be bigger, because the head's so big by comparison. It feels like a storm buckler, rather than a storm shield.

That is awesome beyond words....

The shield is indeed small but I see it as necessary for agility. What matters is the field it emits, not the shield itself anyway

Agreed and same with the sword, it seems like a knife

The shield covers him from nect to knee any bigger and i think it would be ungainley the same for the sword its based on a roman gladius only with a two handed hilt, the pose is set to indecate him landing/touching down he's designed specifically for close quarters combat so a long sword would be more of a hinderance then a help and the same for the shield. Thanks for the comments

At first I was like "could you make 20 castings of that for me?" and then I saw the to-scale Grey Knight. And then I was like "lol".

That is ridiculously awesome. Can't wait to see it painted. If it was 28mm I'd buy 20 for my Vanguards, and give them all Thunderhammers.

in your CMON I see a bunker, did you ever cast it?

Nottingham (yay!)

It's a lovely sculpt, though I have some constructive criticism of the pose. The raised chin makes it look more like he's taking off than landing, and the arms likewise; I'd expect to see shoulders back, elbows raised on a landing pose. This looks more like he's sighting an enemy on an elevated position and raising his weapons to brace against the take-off g-forces.

Psst to be honest he's only tacked together for photographic purposes the arms sword hand shield, head and most of the other gear can all be repostitioned by the chap that commissioned it. However taking off or landing..whatever you fancy its totally up to you. Thanks for looking and commenting
