I've posted here a couple times, but I might as well go ahead and introduce myself.

My name is Tom, and if anyone ever gets familiar with me go ahead and call me that, I always prefer it to nicknames. I'm 18, finally got my first job after 4 months of constant searching and I decided that now would be a good time to finally start my first army. My step-brother, who I don't believe has ever posted on here, got me into 40k, and since then, I've gotten a couple of different gift in the form of some Grey Knights, but after going into my Friendly Local Game Store and playing multiple games with proxies, taking advice from more experienced players, finding myself hating how the Grey Knights played. I don't know what it is, but I don't like how they play. And While I loved painting the models (I'll through up some pictures at some point I guess.) I found them not my cup of tea. So I decided, after some (a lot) of thinking, that I would Paint up some Eldar instead, I love their models a ton, and I'm not looking for something extremely competitive, only something fun to paint and play, even if I lose every game. I'll probably just buy the models I like and then play whatever. Maybe start a blog from the start of my Warhammer journey till whenever I stop, we'll see.

I hope to make a few friends and get some constructive feedback as I post pictures, thanks a ton to those who read!

Eldar don't have many competitive builds, so it's good you're not doing them for a competitive army, I think a fun eldar list would be one with as many wraith lords/guards/war walkers as possible
