WARNING! Awesomeness Overload!

Great showcase, really enjoyed looking through. Very impressive work on all your stuff and love the variation of your collection. Overall great weathering and great "realistic" palette.

Its a little difficult to pick specific favourite parts as you've spoilt us with an epic first showcase.

Perhaps the next models you share (and I hope you do) you could post in its own showcase so we can focus on one at a time!

Thanks for sharing and welcome to dakka!

The weathering is literally some of the best I've ever seen. It looks like rust you can smell. Superior work.

Wow, I thank you very much for your praise that goes down like oil: D
The tanks and the Earth Shaker are commissioned works and the client is satisfied with the chains I personally find what is missing something deep I still want to attach.
The effects of rust on the tank were made with oil paints and the AK Interactive products were tried.

But it's nice that you like my work, there are still some matters Coming soon follow, such as Death Korps of Kireg, Blood Angels, a Black Templar and Crimson Fists Dreadnought Contemptor.

How much does it still work ^ ^

The colorschemes are generally a bit too desaturated and low contrast for my tastes. However, from a technical standpoint they are very well executed. I can tell that's the look you were going for and they do look good.

Well done!

I really like the muted color schemes you've chosen for some of the vehicles. The Dark Eldar in particular is really a new take on that look. It looks much less "fantasy" than the traditional DE scheme, almost hard-sci-fi. What colors did you use?

Also, what did you use for the carriage for the Earthshaker?

That is one helluva showcase. It's all excellent but some things that really catch my eye are the brown/green skin on the Ork, the colour scheme on the DE jetbike and the land speeder. Only crit on the speeder is maybe that front decal could be blended in better given the weathering everywhere else.

Anyhoo, great stuff

Wow, I'm really happy about your praise and also criticism.
'm Really flabbergasted that there is so much good comments ^ ^

@ Eilif: The colors of the Dark Eldar, I've primed with black, then painted with Scorched Bron, then dabbed with Bestrial Brown and then dabbed masking agents. Then I applied Khemri Brown 1-1 (Colour: water) and then I have shaded off the miniatures complete with Devlun Mud. Then a couple of shadow with a mix of Scorched Brown and Brown Khemri. I have then made using glazes. So pretty thin.

I hope you can do with what the manual, if not please ask again

@ LutherMax: This was an experimental one with the decal, I would rather paint or sometimes with a plasticizer to edit ^ ^
But that is no longer, the Stands now in a shop in the showcase.

@ Mortalitas: It's all just practice, the red is from a can of Army Painter, which I sprayed and then lightly shaded off with Devlun Mud on Black primer finish ^ ^
And then just the weathering.

Really nice stuff.

The one thing I have a problem with is the blood. Its done really well but it shouldn't be there really. It is lightning claws the blood would have been fried off by the power output from the claws.

I do love your weathering and everything else. You are a very talented painter for sure. I applaud your work.
