You guys have done some cool stuff with this game! I first experienced Warhammer 40k back in the late 80s, a friend of mines older brother was into ALL sorts of RPGs and had some marines around, i remember posing, gluing and then painting my first marine, ahh yeah good times good times. For the last four years ive been buying random figures and posing them and i guess from the termanology, kit bashing a few of them but nothing major, maybe a head here or a gun there. But after lurking here for a few weeks, WOW, i see the things you guys come up with and it just makes me wanna have fun with these things, so here i am stalking your posts and trying to learn, and you guys are some great teachers lemme tell ya!

You can probably guess i dont play the game, and mind you thats only because id need travel 45 miles to visit the nearest store, but i wouldnt mind it so much.

Currently im planning an Ork army that i wanna try and make/convert while still being true to codex but funds are limited so itll take me a while to achieve this goal and from the looks of things, lots of you have been here for a few years and are still making armies and crafting/converting some fine minis, i feel this will be a great place to grow in the hobby as well as the game.

No really im not kissing your rear dakka dakka, ive been impressed every day with the things you have come up with, heres hoping im a good student and outside the box as some of you!

If your interested in orcs check out then WAAAAGH DAKA as there are some fine models there, id even go so far as reconmend you have a go making an orc for it xD

@ Dalveen, Glad you mentioned that! I had seen that before but forgot about it, currently i just have the orks from the AoBR set as well as some night goblins i just now got with my paint set but im sure i could make one of the regular boys for it!

I'm new here too. I hear you on the driving distance to a store. It's a 60 mile one way trip for me. I'm playing the game with the two oldest sons and one of their friends on weekends.
