Hello everyone
I am working out a torment list and, I was wondering whats is better Duke sliscus or a kitted out archon (with shadow field,ghost plate,soul trap ,huskblade ,combat drugs and phantasm grenade which in totally comes to 175). But which do I take ?

That sort of depends on the army that you're taking. It's quite possible that neither is a good fit.

Yup, and it's possible that both might be great. Need to know everything else going into the list to determine which (if either) would be the optimum choice for you.

thats my 1,500 list army without a archon or the duke

Ok....he asked about an Archon or the Duke

if you want DSing raiders or have lots of units relying on drugs...or squad of 3+ poisoned Truborn...then go with the duke

Otherwise I prefer and Archon with Incubi

Yeah the archon is cool.But a 3+ kablite warrior squad of 20 in rapid fire range.

Your list doesn't use deepstrike (as only assault units could - derp on that) and doesn't have many shooting squads for the Baron to really helpfully boost.

I would buy the Raider with the Wracks so at least it can start on the board with the Haem inside it and give you a fighting chance...

Okay, well, I'm going to first off note that I think your list needs a fair amount of work - but as far as your specific question goes - I would take the Archon, so you could buy a PGL, so the Incubi could get grenades which will be important to them.

In general though, i would re-work that list.

pretty much what Thor said. Duke sliscus is geat for wych armes, archons for odd off the cuff armies like this. but yeah, large blobs is an odd way to go
