Dipping With Wood Stain

Hi, I'm Skits, and I've finally decided to bite the bullet and join up after lurking around for a bit. I've been playing WH40K and painting casually for about a year now, but I'm still pretty damn new to the hobby in general. My main (and only!) army is a pure Thousand Sons force, which I love to bits. Mostly for the fluff, hehe. So far I've spent more time painting than actually playing, though hopefully that'll even out now that just about all the army I have atm is painted. Heading down to Games Day tomorrow with my Armies on Parade entry, very much looking forward to it!
I'll hopefully get proper photos of my army taken and posted soon, but for now have a quick pic of my most recently completed model.

Have you purposely painted a glowing effect on the eyes? Or does it just look that way on this photo? I came back for another look and noticed them and they look bitchin!
