I never ever thought I'd say this but, that is too much wash. It's still wet so it's hard to see exactly what it will look like. It's a good start but I think painting in some of the smaller details to really make them pop.

The boss is very good. The bikes however...they could do with breaking up the red because IMHO they look like a brick of red with wheels. Add some silver or chips in the corners.

Nice. The two ways I would say to improve is lighter on the wash. You should only be adding a very thin layer, it makes it pool in odd ways. Also, if you think you are up to it, a highlight might be nice. The miniature looks slightly under highlighted.

On the red sections the wash looks pretty cool, it makes the metal look very scrappy and orky. Its such a shame that your not painting any of the detail things such as teeth. Also seems to be quite a lot of paint overflow on to surrounding areas. The boss looks like you just fished him out of a paint pot that you dropped him in. Way too much pooling in the recesses. Your technique once you do more and refine it slightly will make a great unique style but I really think there is more work to do to get it from whats currently quite a messy paint job to something really special, definately the potential though. How long have you been painting and what other things have you worked on before?

If your going to do something wrong, do it right!!!!

Can I suggest a little more brown and crimson on the gore? The colour is very similar to the 'red paint' areas.
