Please help clarify.

If I charge a unit which contains a wizard and my character or unit champ is not in B2B, can they make way to the wizard to try and kill it?

I remember seeing the diagram in the rulebook when a dragon charged a flank and the character 'maked way'. Can the champ do this too?

You cannot make way if you are already in B2B with an enemy.

If the hero or champ are not in b2b with any enemy models than yes if he's busy killing stuff no.

Ah, so if on the charge youre not in B2B, youre stuffed.

A reform is needed, then all he needs to do is reform the other side!

God, its so hard trying to get em wizards!

What army do you play as?
You could always issue a challenge and be all come at me bro. If he declines and he has more than 1 character in there then you can choose who goes to the back. If he only has 1 character ie the wiz then if you can don't challenge.
Just gave your unit attack him.

Was thinking of using scouting MEs with the champ to make way to his wizard. But this wont happen now :(

What kind of non WOC mage are you facing that can survive a regular ME?

I haven't seen anything to allow it, but Champions can't Make Way! anyway; that is reserved for characters.

If I am missing it, please let me know. It does come up occasionally, and we have never found anything under Champions nor Make Way to allow it.

Well HoverBoy, its getting there that the problem.

30 WLs in the way and ive seen them mince 6MEs in one combat. A 500p unit mincing another 400p unit in 1 combat! (only my Savage big un won combat with them 1v1 and thats a 600+ unit with the shaman)

So he goes ethereal so I cant snipe. Cant scout, he knows I run gorgers now and then just snipes my characters with death.

When I get too close its PSOX

I did managed to wipe them with 4 rounds of shooting with a 2x8 LB list...think thats the only way, shooty and moving back or he retreats and I corner him. MR in my 11 man IG unit (in my shooty list).

Impact hits are distributed as shooting hits, so it's unlikely any would go on the wizard.

Suggestion: Try hellhearthing his ass. Or a froging scroll to disable his gear.

Make way is character only.

As for the ethereal character goes, it's not the character that's the problem, it's the 30 white lions.

I've had some good luck with a shooty list with heavens slaughter master.
Harmonic Convergence is a godsend to Leadbelchers.
Thunderbolt and Comet aren't great, but the range lets you play a stand off ogre list.
