To atone for my general nonsense, the next in my series of actual good discussion threads. What's your favorite fruit and veggie?

I love okra (especially raw as a munchie snack) and blueberries, when mixed with pretty much anything though yogurt reigns supreme.

Worship me.

Tomato

I hate them, but by virtue of being the only thing I can think of that counts as both a fruit and a veggie they make the top and bottom of the list and can be counted as either my most or least favorite.

In this context they are the former.

Together isn't bad, either.

For fruit strawberries, apples, and bananas would be tied. They're really the only fruits I like. I dislike tropical fruits like pineapples and mangoes. Favorite vegetables would be asparagus, onions (only grilled), and broccoli.

I totally forgot peppers were a veggie. They're in damn near everything I eat. EVERYTHING. My girlfriend hates it because the residue lingers all sorts of unfortunate places.

Mwahahaha!

And to think I was just coming in to this thread to make the dodgy 'and' joke made in the first reply...

“We may observe that the government in a civilized country is much more expensive than in a barbarous one; and when we say that one government is more expensive than another, it is the same as if we said that that one country is farther advanced in improvement than another. To say that the government is expensive and the people not oppressed is to say that the people are rich.”

Pomegranate and Peppers (or Bell Peppers for those of you across the pond).

I really don't not like much in the way of fruit or veg or fungus that i've tried; my only dislikes are grapefruit and mushrooms really.

Mandorallen turned back toward the insolently sneering baron. 'My Lord,' The great knight said distantly, 'I find thy face apelike and thy form misshapen. Mushrooms don't fall into either category.

They're just fungal-riffic.
