I reckon it will be 5 Terminators(Paladin options included), and 10 PA GK, with all options, and a rhino.

That is abouit right for a battleforce right?

i dont think they will release a battleforce but if they announced that it will come that's another story.

for op tough i would ask it to be a razorback instead of a rhino.

So would I, but a rhino is the satndard. Razorback is too powerful, and can be made into both to swap between, effectively giving you 2 models in 1, and despite their ruylingson somethings, Tyranids, I am looking at you and your non-vehicle-affecting-Shadow-In-The-WEarp, are not idiots. They may not know how to write rules accurately and fairly, Grey Knights, but htey certainly know how to sell.

as a DA player i would like a GK battleforce, they are very good for that knightly look after a bit of conversion

Probably just 20 GK's, a Brother-Captain, and a Rhino. Generally GW doesn't like to include any big units in the battleforces.

GW isn't a fan of putting HQs into Battleforces either. And they like to throw in that obligatory "bad" unit.
So prolly 5 Terminators, 5 PA marines, a Rhino and a small squad of newly sculpted/poorly equipped henchmen.

Don't think they'll do one tbh.

Recent BFs have been awful value. Compare the £ cost of the models in the Tau one (no matter what you think of Tau) with the nids (for example). The Eldar one was pretty poor value as well imho.

GK figures are expensive and to make one like the recent ones they would have to go for virtually nothing in the box. Unless they go for some IG and a chimera with some GK power armour models.

what I would like to see however is 2 razorbacks, 10 PAGKs and a metal crowe model

Most likely will either be 20 assorted GKs + a Rhino, or 10/15 GKs, 5 GKTs and a Rhino, since most of the battleforces (at least the Marine ones) have 1 Transport Vehicle (Rhino or SM and BA, Drop Pod for SW) and the rest as assorted infantry, however GKs aren't really varied enough to include a 10-man troops squad, a 5-man assault squad, and a 5-man specilaised troop/scout squad, there isn't much more than GKs and GKTs that can be put in unless they break the 1-Vehicle-Per-Battleforce and put in a Dreadnought instead of the Terminators.

This will give a 5 man terminator/paladin squad, 1 ten man strike/purifier/interceptor/purgation squad, 1 five man strike/purifier/interceptor/purgation squad, a rhino, and a dreadnought.

It follows the pattern of GW giving you about 3 squads of infantry and 1-2 vehicles.


the nice thing about a GK battleforce is that as long as there are Terminators and at least 10 PAGK models in the box you can have a legal force. 1 terminator can be made into a Librarian or GKGM and the other 4 can be Paladins.

It's also more than double the cost of the Battleforce, which I doubt GW will ignore.

EDIT: Both the SM and BA BFs add up to £84.50; the closest we can get with GKs is £89.5, which contains 10 GKs, 5 GKTs and a Rhino.

Before draigo went to fiencast, I could have had an HQ and 5 troopos for £40. Now I have bought Draigio for 14.80 instead of 13.45 and the paladins have went up to £28.

Not a HQ. There has never been a BF to my memory that had one. Maybe Termies.

4th ed Nids had Warriors, which were HQ or Elites in 4th ed.


The current one has warriors which can be made as primes.
