Congrats on the win - It's very different reading a small elite Nid Force compared to my big swarmy one.

My only question though is how you deal with armour? I know 750 pnt games are small, but this appears to be a weakness in your build (I went to a 750 pnt tourney recently where it wasn't uncommon to come across 4 vehicles, and one army had two Stormravens!)

Good to see the Warriors with BS and LW making a mess of things, I've often wondered how they would go.

And yes, raveners are generally better walking on, especially at this points level. (otherwise, you almost hope that they come in on turn 3 rather than 2, so that there might not be as much stuff available to shoot them).

Anyway - good game. Would be nice to be able to get bigger pics though in future

I'm not gonna lie, that marine list was terrible. Termies at this point level are an awful point sink, and Vulkan is bordering on too expensive. He put the meltagun and MM in the same combat squad (terrible idea), and he brought scout snipers, which never kill anything. Tellion was probably the saving grace for them. I took one look at the lists, and knew you would win. Though well played on your part I must say

Good fight, just brutal.

To the Hive Minder, good use of catalyst. It really helps that you took strong MEQ hunters like stealers, and I agree walking those raveners on would have been best. I recommend taking only rending claws on raveners, cause they are stronger in the assault. though I understand taking ranged weapons for deep striking them however. Good job

In regards to the Salamander general, Vulkan lists at this pts lvl are hard to use, especially since 1. Used Vulkan, too expensive, 2. Took assault terminators, 3. Took craptastic scouts 4. With taking Vulkan, he didn't take advantage by maxing his flamers, heavy flamers, melta guns and multi meltas. Twin linked meltas hit reliably and kill warriors outright and twin linked flamers make little bugs cry. Tacticals kitted out with flamers and melta in transports would have been golden

I agree vulcan is to expensive, as are termies. Scouts aren't horrible, but they should be in the top of the building, not on there own where I can use a free unit of gaunts to wipe them..... stupid doubles. As for armour I am sitting at the please god let this rend with stealers and raveners. I am thinking of switching out the raveners with 2 hive guard, and maybe the broodlord should go as well. I will play a game or two more with him before I decide that though.
