Heyy everyone! Thanks for checking out my Chaos blog!

A Little about myself: I'm Iranna, age 16 from Scotland and I'm predominantly an Eldar player at heart.

Unfortunately, after digging out some old models, I came across my CSM codex which I thought I had lost. I playtested a Slaanesh list over the course of the past week and have now decided to put my Eldar on hold while I create my most elaborate-looking army yet!

So, introducing none other than the leader of this warband of Slaaneshi, noise-addicted cult: Yubel Heartweaver.



That's right, my Chaos Lord is a woman!

Some backstory, before I am branded a fluff-hating heretic!:

Yubel Heartweaver has been described as one of Slaanesh's most dedicated - and dangerous - servants. Born as "Yubel van Gaarson" upon the planet Cyracuse in early M38, she was the daughter of the Planatary Governor there. After the arrest and summary execution of her father on the (unproven) charge of heresy and trafficking with renegades Yubel swore to hunt the Inquisitor responsible: Inquisitor van Carlson (who was, coincidently, a member of one of Cyracuse's noble families before his ascension into the ranks of the Inquisition). For twenty years, Yubel hunted van Carlson, even bartering with xenos, renegades and traitors for information regarding his whereabouts until she finally found him on the planet of Xaros IV, some 6 sectors away. During this time, the pleasure she found in mingling with the heretics, the thrill of the chase and the excitement of the climax of her journey (all things which were kept hidden from her in her privilaged background) did not go unnoticed by Slaanesh. He visited her in her dreams, in the guise of her father. Ebbing her on, Slaanesh sent her down the path of Damnation, telling her to allow herself to be used as a gateway for the daemons of the Dark Prince.

After procuring a transport to Xaros IV and making her way to the centre of its capital (Xanthin), she allowed herself to be possessed by Heartslayer - one of Slaanesh's most favoured Keeper of Secrets - and became a conduit for the Warpgate that ensued. Inquisitor van Carlson and the entire planet were taken by surprise and in a night of perverse slaughter and destruction in the name of chaos; they were killed. As the Warpstorm abated, something happened which surprised even Heartslayer: the baleful energies which should have ripped her asunder had instead infused with Yubel, turning her into a half-daemon, half-human abomination. Slaanesh claimed her as her own that day, seeing a great deal of potential in his new champion.

For nearly 3000 years Yubel has ravaged the galaxy in the name of pleasure. She bested a renegade astartes champion of Khorne in single combat and stole his power armour, which was later warped by the Dark Prince's whimsical pleasure to better fit and protect his champion, She claimed the warband "The Scions of Excess" for herself after defeating its leader and recently, has been seen engaging Space Wolves fleets and planets in extreme proximity to Fenris.

I cannot overstate how wonderfully Ironic that you have moved to Slaneesh CSM from Eldar... Very nice conversion, I'd love so see the rest of your CSM crew...

What's the shield count as then? As far as I know, they don't have any shield type stuff.....

The shield is purely for decorative purposes, I think it helps the model stand out.

Also, I'm hoping for some kind of Storm Shield in the Chaos Legions codex so it's my way of thinking ahead!

And here's hoping for every type of daemon, and even some cultists with angry flashlights, Chimeras, and flak jackets alongside marines.

But with GW, I don't think I'll be that lucky.

Why not just make Codex: Renegade Guard and be done with it?

Thanks, I think there's still a little to be done on the Lord (or Lady? ) and the Sorcerer will be completed soon too.

Really though. It's almost too big..... The length is a bit wonky and the icon is... Well.... An icon for banners. Not really neat and compact.

But, I guess when you're a genetic super soldier charged with otherworldly energies..... Eh, zog it. He's compensating for the Lord-ess, right?
