Ok, I'm a new player so this may seem a bit stupid to some, but bear with me.

Me and my friend both got new fantasy armies and are first time players (though we've played 40k a ton) Our armies our Skaven and WoC so naturally models with two close combat weapons and frenzy came up (plague monks and MoK warriors) We were wondering if this gives them +2 attacks since the two weapons give them the "extra attacks" rule and frenzy does too, or is it only +1 since they are both giving the same rule. We've been playing with +2 attacks (because more attacks = more fun) but is this the right way? Thanks

Well welcome to fantasy.

Warriors have 2 attacks base then with the ahw they have 3 attacks and then with frenzy they have 4.

So yes you do get the extra +1 for frenzy and the extra+1 for ahw.

Also the guys behind the first rank dont get more than 1 supporting attack even with ahw just in case that came up at all.

But for woc help and some general knowledge check out the link below.

Unless otherwise noted, the effects of multiple special rules are cumulative. p. 66

Extra Attacks has no limit. Though unless otherwise noted or FAQ'd, you can't get attributes over 10.

Also the tz ward save stacks.
Tz warriors with shields have a 5+ ward against anything that can be parried.
As well as it stacks on magic items like talisman of preservation gives you a 3+ ward woot.

Personally I'd scrap the extra attack of an AHW for the hitting power of a GW.

Since the STR of an attack modifies the armor save of the defending unit, what you have with GW-MoK warriors are 3 S6 attacks, which penalize the armor save by 3 and wound almost everything on a roll of 2+.

Gw are a no no on warriors they are fast initiative 5 is great.
You don't need str 6 to wreck face.
Halberds are cheaper give youan extra str ( str 5 warriors).
They also let you strike at initiative.

If you need a heavy hitter get a lord.

You are right about the -3 but you don't need -3 most things only have a 5+ armor and they are usually toughness 3 which you wound on 2+.

To sum it up gw not ideal for warriors.
Gw on marauder horde is awesome they can kill everything.

True, halberds are a better choice against most armies.

My primary army is Ogres, and one of my best friend's primary armies is WoC. Either halberds or GW is going to take away armor on anything but my cav (or lord/hero), but the GW wound on a 2 instead of 3. But then there's I...

I don't know. So many units have T4 or better. I'm just a heavy-hitting fan.

There are many situations where S6 is overkill, but there's also many situations where ASL doesn't matter at all. I've played using his WoC army a few times, and I suppose I usually kit-out depending on who I'm facing.

Just to point out:

Page 66 – Special Rules, What Special Rules Does It Have Change “[...]the effects of multiple special rules[...]” to “[...]the effects of different special rules[...]”Add “However, unless otherwise stated, a model gains no additional benefit from having the same special rule multiple times.” to the end of the first paragraph.

Page 69 – Extra Attack
Add “Unlike most special rules, the effects of multiple Extra Attack special rules are cumulative.”

Page 69 – Fight In Extra Ranks
Add “Unlike most special rules, the effects of multiple Fight In Extra Ranks special rules are cumulative.”

Sorry for the threadjacking but it seems to be a logical place to ask, does this mean that frenzied spearmen provide 2 attacks each?

Front rank - yes
Supporting attacks - read the supporting attacks rule, and notice the limitation on the number of attacks
