So finally finished the building process of this terrain piece.. i am fed up with it someone else is going to paint it to match his ork army ^^
what do you think?? it is changable just slide the ork component over it and voila..
an ork totem or a necron euhm.. whatever summning stone or something the ork thing is made of a sprue skeleton with cardboard/plasticard/bitz glued on it, the black cube has green lines on the sides donno if its clear in the pics..
also the red brown base matches our selfmade gaming board..
what ya think??

This is ingenious. you have created two terrain peices in one.

Oh add turrets.... MORE DAKKA to the ork tower so you can use it as a bastion in Planetstrike!

Pretty cool, love the Ork thingy!
The necron piece though is quite plain, I feel more could be done with it and the base needs work too, its too monotone and ordinary.

I love the idea, of interchangable terrain. I will have to see if i can come up with something similar for my one day table. (I am still in the planning stages of the table i want to build.)

Excellent work overall!!! It should look great on the tabletop.

Keep up the good work.

Does the necron part remind anyone else of 2001 A Space Odyssey? Pretty cool, though the necron part does feel a bit underwhelmed when compared to that amazing orky bit that attaches.

Necrons need some love too... Maybe one of the fancy icons they have on one of the facings, or just carve our a little space and insert some of those spiffy green rods.

Or leave it as is for the minimalist approach lol.

Lol, thanks alot martian, now I've got that song stuck in my head. Yes, tho, I agree, it just needs a bunch of monkey-men crawling around it.

Smart terrain there. The necron stone does need a bit extra to make it a tad more special. Brilliant concept too.

The boy, I say, the boy is as sharp as a sack of wet mice...
